"No problem" he says holding in a little smile, and it was a little obvious that he was.
"Okay so we're starting the year with a project. Groups of three okay? Now if you've heard anything that I've said for the past 15 minutes, you'll know what to do next. If you don't find your partners and ask them. And next time, pay attention" Ms. Potter says pushing up her glasses and sitting down at her desk, writing a few things on her papers.
Levi turned to Laura. "We're you listening at all?"
Before she could answer, a guy came up to them. "Hey, mind if i join your little group here? Ms. Potter says three people in each group and looks like you only have two" he smiled at the two. Levi looked at him then Laura. He seemed nice enough.
"Well i guess we're a group now" he shrugged
Laura smiled. "I don't mind at all. Would you mind informing us about this project?" She asked politely. She pulled out her favorite pen and scribbled "Chem Project" at the top. "Oh, and I'm Laura." She said looking at him.
"Pretty name! I'm Elijah Smith!" He says with his australian accent, his dirty blonde hair falling in his face as he smiled at her and sat down. "So the project…uh sorry I wasn't paying attention either"
(Elijah is my baby and i love him)
(He's cute! I love him!)
She laughed some. "Well, Houston we have a problem. We'll have to go find another student and ask them." She said picking up her notebook.
"Oh golly mate!" He ran his fingers through his hair then looked around. "I'll be back" he got up and walked up to the teacher and soon came back with a smile. "Well all she told us to do, was to not make anything explosive….." He says slumping back in his chair. "I don't think she took me serious when i asked her to refresh my memory"
Laura smiled and watched him. "Well, as long as we do that, we'll be okay. And with Levi here that shouldn't happen." She said circling her finger in one of the knots in the wood.
"Hopefully." He says setting aside a little origami penguin and getting out his computer. He opened his google documents, typed a few things then went to another tab.
(Okay so i totally forgot what kind of project they do in high school for chem so that's a thing.)
(XD in not even in college so fun!)
"Whatcha doing Levi?" She asked sliding closer to see what was on his computer.
(Oh! And happy Halloween!)
(Happy Halloween!!!)
(I legit just bought a Jack Skellington onesie for Halloween. I'm not even going out XD im just playing video games, eating my siblings candy and roleplaying lol)
"Well right now, just notes. It's the beginning of the school year, meaning i have to take as many notes as possible so later in the year i won't have to" he says tilting the computer towards her.
She nodded. "Smart." She said smiling. (XD yeah I'd say "same" but I was out :P I wish I coulda gone to my cuz's house but she had a party so there's that)
(More interesting than me XD)
(Wanna do a lil time skip to lunch?)
(Nice)
The bell rang through the halls and through Levis ears, causing him to plug one. He packed his things and got up, looking down at Laura. "Next is lunch…correct?"
She nodded slightly. "Yeah, I was going to sit in the court yard. Want to join me?" She smiled.
"Sure," he says rather cheerfully. More than normal. Elijah stood up, smiled at the two "well my mates wanna hang, so see ya!" He ran out.
Laura waved after Elijah and turned back to Levi. "Let's go!" She smiled excitedly. She took Levi's hand and gently pulled him along.
He nodded and watched her as she grabbed his ungloved hand and pulled him along. He didn't resist though. Which he usually would have done.
He simply didn't focus on it too much, so he alerted his eyes somewhere else.
She stopped in the line of the cafeteria and seemed to be bouncing with energy.
He let out a soft chuckle as they stood in line. "You seem to be in a good mood?"
She turned to him. "I have no idea why!" She said beaming. She gently let go of his hand and pulled up her hair.
He didn't even realize that she had been holding onto his hand the whole time until she let go. (Dang that could be poetic XD)
"No reason huh?" He says thinking about it more and more. He never was happy without a reason. He always had to have a reason.
