She dropped her arms after pulling up her hair into a messy bun. "Yup! Just happy." She said taking a step forward in the line.
She dropped her arms after pulling up her hair into a messy bun. "Yup! Just happy." She said taking a step forward in the line.
"Somebody woke up on the right side of the bed" he let out a soft chuckle.
Once they got their food he turned over to her "where to.now?"
"To the courtyard!" She said balancing her tray and her phone. She half skipped checking over her shoulder to see if he was following.
He followed her as she skipped around happily. He found her very….intriguing to say the least.
How could she be so happy, for no reason?
You always had to have a reason to be happy…..right?
She found a sunny spot and sat down. "Sit!" She smiled.
"I guess I'm a dog now" he shrugged as he dusted off the bench and sat down.
She frowned. "I didn't mean it like that, I was just- never mind." She sighed picking up her PB&J taking a bite out of it.
"It was a joke" he says rolling his eyes playfully.
She smiled again. "Funny, didn't assume you the joking type." She said eating the last bit of her sandwich. She opened her water bottle and took a sip. "So what do you do for fun?" She asked setting her water down.
"I try to. I'm not the best at it though" he says running his fingers through his hair.
"What I do?" He asks tilting his head like a lost puppy. He was confused. Was she asking him?
People never asked him about himself. Though she wasn't normal. So he let it slide.
"Writing…photography. Does cleaning count?" He joked
She smiled a bit. "I'd guess, do you have any of your photos with you?" She asked grinning.
"Me?!" He raised his dark eyebrows "oh, never in a million years" he shook his head. "I'm not photo-worthy in any means."
She jumped a bit at his exclamation. "I- I meant photos you have tak- wait what do you mean? Not photo-worthy? Why?" She asked frowning.
He looked at her then back at the ground, hiding his face in his hands.
He didn't realize how nervous he as until just then.
"I apologize…i misunderstood your…uh….question. Sorry. No I don't have any with me" he says removing his hands from his face hesitantly and looking away. His face was definitely and noticeable red from embarrassment.
She smiled some to try and push past it. "It's alright, I understand." She said adjusting her tray on her lap. "So do you get hired for photography? Are you that good?" She asked leaning on the palms of her hands.
"I do commissions most of the time. I do weddings alot. Other than that…" he tapped his bottom lip, trying to think "other thanthat, they sell really good" he shrugged
He was still thinking about how he messed up. He shouldn't have even said that anyway.
He wasn't very worthy of being in any of his photos anyway. Or anyone's for that matter.
People are supposed to take pictures of beautiful things. Not him
She smiled. "Wow, you must be really good! I'll have to hire you when I get married. (That'd be hard XD but jk) I can't as well take my own wedding pictures." She said running her hands over her jeans.
(Nah, Levi can marry her XD)
"Depends on how much you pay" he says jokingly. He then turned to her raising a brow "you do photography?"
She flushed a bit. "I mean, some. I don't have people paying for my stuff, I mostly do free stuff if you hand me an SD card. I went to comic cons and things like that." She said pulling her hair out of the bun, and pulling it back up into a more secure one.
He watched as she took her bum out, letting her hair fall. It was quite gorgeous.
He had to admit, he was a little disappointed when she pulled it back up.
"Uh well….have you try taken any classes? Or have you tried to have people pay for it? I'm sure they would"
She shook her head. "No, because I didn't want to major in it. It was kinda something I did for fun." She said stretching some. "I really wanted to work in the music industry but I had no chance. If I ever got the chance I'd go back and tell my 16 year old self to let that dream go." She said half frowning. "But hey, if I had made it into the music business I'd never had met you." She said optimisticly.
"Well I don't really know if that's a good thing or not" he says with a shrug. "Music huh? So do you sing or play anything?" He asks turning to her
She stiffened some. "I do both. I can play piano, and guitar." She started. "I sing too. But I don't have any of my own songs." She said blowing a strand of hair out of her face.
"Why didn't you pursue music?" He asked as he set aside his empty tray.
(Sorry it's short)
(No! You're good!)
She sighed. "Well I tried, but things kept getting in the way, and nobody would take me. All the producers I met with said I sounded too much like other artists that they had." She said eyeing the ground watching her feet.
