It tasted delicious, actually. It was a yummy steak-like food with asparagus. Lucifer started to dig into his, tearing into it with his sharp teeth.

"So… why are you suddenly being nice to me? You wanted nothing to do with me before." Scipio took another bite of food, looking up at Lucifer.
"I was bored, I told you. And you're the one who came to me," He answered rather defensively, ripping another piece for his own and biting a piece of asparagus.
Scipio nodded quietly, wanting to push it further but deciding it wouldn't be wise to do so. He didn't want to get kicked back to the basement.
Lucifer himself decided it was time to conclude that he also had no idea why he invited the other up. Maybe he just got lonely and liked the company of the spunky human?
"What does guilt feel like?" Scipio asked suddenly. "I know I don't experience it, but I get curious, you know?"
"Dunno," He answered with a shrug. "I couldn't tell you. It feels different for everyone." He chewed his steak, then took a sip of the wine brought to them.
Scipio took a sip of wine as well, a chill going down his spine. "Strange…"
Lucifer glanced at him over the rim of his cup. "What is strange?"
"I suppose it's the alcohol. I've never had it before." Scipio took another sip of wine and shivered again.
"I find it hard to believe that. There's hardly any alcohol in this drink," He commented, drinking the rest of his glass.
"It still feels weird to me… I've never had a drop of alcohol before now." Scipio drank a bit more.
Lucifer watched him curiously. It was actually an understatement. Scipio's drink was just some cranberry juice. He had no idea what he was feeling.
Scipio shrugged and just continued eating, leaving the cranberry juice alone.
Lucifer gave him another weird look. "Do you want some wine? I can get you some. I'm drinking some juice too, if it helps you feel better. I have bourbon shots in my office we can take."
Scipio looked up at Lucifer, confused. He glanced at the drink and then back up again. "It's not wine?"
"Nope. It's cranberry juice. I don't know why you were getting all shivery," He said with a slight confused tone.
"I thought it was wine… hmm…" Scipio thought for a moment. "Placebo effect?"
"That doesn't…" He sighed. "Look, kid, you're dead. Alcohol doesn't have an affect on you. I have shots of bourbon but it won't do anything. I'll just taste the taste of the drink."
"But can't I die again? Am I dead or not? I know I died at least once…" Scipio said softly.
"Yes, I can kill you," Lucifer explained softly. "But you are dead. Your body has passed you on."
Scipio slowly lifted up his hand and flicked his arm. "So I still feel pain… I still have a body…?"
"You cannot inflict pain on yourself or others. Your brain– and all of their's– is dead. Only I can inflict pain on you with a certain poison that hurts your soul."
"Dammit I thought you said I could kill other servants…" Scipio sighed. "Ah, well… I suppose that part was too good to be true."
"The reason they respawn is because they've been here for long enough. And I never said that. I said you couldn't, you dummy."
