(Yea that was kind of my point lmao but I didn't realize Scipio wouldn't try anything else.)
(I mean, he's locked in now. He can't get out. Earlier the door was open)
(-.- yes that was my point. I mean bother him by his thoughts or something.)
(Yeah. He tried that for a while, but Lucifer was ignoring him, so he gave up)
(Hello?)
(Hhhh)
(Bump)
Lucifer had woken up a few hours later, in his hot pool of steaming water, bringing his head up from where it had lolled onto his shoulder with a yawn. Apparently he had fallen asleep after being so grumpy. He wasn't really a morning person. He stood out of his hot tub and stretched his back slowly, then put on his robe, stalking out of his room. He didn't find any of his servants, so to ease his boredom which had quickly bore down on him, he walked down into the basement with his arms crossed.
"So, you're not dead yet."
"Still ticking, Lucy…" Scipio said tiredly, looking up as Lucifer entered the room. He stayed on the ground where he was, humming quietly to himself to distract himself from everything. "Why are you wasting your time here with me, though?"
"I got bored," The man answered as he walked over to stand next to the human, glaring down at him. "Honestly, I'm not even sure why I'm keeping you here. I guess it wouldn't be as satisfying just to kill you, huh? You've killed so many people, you don't even deserve death."
Scipio shrugged. "Hey, when a psychopath like me gets bored, they join the army to see what murder feels like, gets addicted to it, and eventually gets hung. That's just how it is, Lucy. Well, I think so anyways. I don't often talk to other people."
"Mhm. So you joined some army and got to shed some blood. Surely that would be enough for some people, am I right on assuming that?" He had heard a lot of stories similar to this, but why did this one case make him so interested?
He nodded. "But battles didn't really happen every day, you know? I get bored easily… I started killing people from my own side. Sometimes not even with a gun. Honestly, I probably could've been more careful with that last one…"
"Yeah I think they killed you a little," Lucifer just responded dully. "Well, I'm not letting you join my people. They're a peaceful type and they deserve to be protected. So if you have any ideas as to where you want me to put you, that'd be great."
"Oh, I dunno. I haven't done much research on the ranks available in hell. Not many books in the army, see?" Scipio grinned a bit, laying his head back on the wall. "But yeah, no clue. My soul's pretty rotten."
"No, there's no ranks. It's just me and my people. And my fuckin' servants– wait, you can be one of my servants! If you kill them, it literally won't matter, they'll respawn." He grinned evilly. He only did this to the most evil of people. And Scipio seemed to fit the shoes quite well.
"Wonderful. Then I can respawn too! Like a video game, but you're literally in hell. Do I need to fill out an application? Get a uniform?" Scipio supported his head with one hand.
"No, you don't respawn, and it's not a video game you absolute buffoon. It's only to keep you bored when you're here, and working while you're at it. No, you just need some servants to get you less shit clothes." He grabbed Scipio by the scruff of his neck and dragged him up the steps and to the servants' room.
"Ow. I can walk, you know." Scipio huffed, but let himself get dragged away. "But if your servants respawn, and I'm going to be one of your servants, why won't I respawn? What would even happen to me at that point?"
"Because you're stupid. And your soul would be sent to somewhere to be eaten and enjoyed by someone far above me." He plopped the human onto the ground, glaring down at him. "They're in this door. I expect to see you thirty minutes from now." He stalked off.
Scipio sighed and pushed open the door. "Hey y'all, how's it hanging?" He smirked a bit to himself. "It's funny because I was hung. Anyways." He clapped his hands together once. "Lucy said I'm a servant now. What do I do?"
It was about thirty minutes later when they set him up with a small room, a bed, and a wardrobe set up with his sized clothes. He had been pampered up and made up to look less terrible after his death to be Lucifer's servant, then sent out to deal with the guy like he demanded.
(Scipio's personality is honestly just the definition of chaotic neutral lol)
Scipio walked out to where Lucifer was and waved. "Hey, Lucy. Oh, sorry. I mean your highness." He bowed dramatically, a small smirk lingering on his face.
Lucifer was in his room, looking through some files. "There's a toad in my hot spring. Get it out," He simply demanded, not looking up from his writing. He was investing in getting another human to kill off.
