"Perhaps it's my boyish charm~" Scipio smirked, watching Lucifer as he deliberated. "Or my dashing good looks."
"Perhaps it's my boyish charm~" Scipio smirked, watching Lucifer as he deliberated. "Or my dashing good looks."
Lucifer glanced down at the human slightly, a slight smirk dancing on his lips as he evaluated the human. "Maybe."
"Wait, shit, really? I was joking." Scipio laughed a bit, sipping his cranberry juice as though it were wine.
"Well, I think I should start being like you. Stupidly daring but truthful," Lucifer hummed with a laugh, shutting his eyes.
Scipio shrugged. "It's a good way to live, man. Well, not by society's standards… it might get you killed at seventeen, but hey, it was a fun seventeen years."
"Mmm. I think I'm older than seventeen, human." He smiled anyway. "I'm glad you had fun. Now you're here. You surely can't be having fun."
"I mean, I dunno. I'm chilling in a hot spring with the king of hell, we're eating dinner, and we're having what seems to be an ordinary conversation. I'm not gonna say I'm not having fun."
Lucifer rolled his eyes and moved down slowly into the water again with a deep sigh. "Right, not having fun." He chuckled and shut his eyes. "You could be having more fun, so I'll let it go."
Scipio moved back to the wall as well, looking around the room curiously. There were other small paintings on the walls too. His hair kept falling into his eyes, and he generally pushed it back up, but he stopped caring pretty soon. His hair was very fluffy since he wasn't wearing hair gel the day he was hung.
Lucifer relaxed his head on his own shoulder, yawning slowly. He moved down father into the water, letting the water warm him up. This was super nice. And the other's body warmth seemed to be helping a lot with the water.
"How often do you come here? You seem to be in here a lot." Scipio looked over at Lucifer.
"I come in here as often as I can," Lucifer murmured, yawning. "I only got it a couple days ago."
"Really? I didn't know you could actually like, get new things here… hell really isn't as bad as everyone says." Scipio hummed, glancing around again. "Is it like, just for you or do other people use it too?"
"This one's my personal one. And like I said Hell isn't as bad as humans think." He yawned and shut his eyes. "And of course I can get new things. We're not some kind of animal society. We work just like you do."
"Are there like, jobs? Do people get paid? Can you buy things??" Scipio seemed to have more questions the longer he was here.
"There are jobs, but things are mostly free. You can basically go and get stuff, and the Demons who were assigned that job will help you check it out." He shrugged. "It works and everyone seems to like not having to worry about money."
"Isn't the whole 'no money' thing communism? I thought that was bad and didn't work…" Scipio said softly, mentally debating.
"Well, sort of. Communism gave people equal pay and it sucked, while they all worked different jobs for the same pay. And they starved. That's not quite what this is."
"Hmm… so it's communism, but effective? We should come up with a new name for it." Scipio thought for a moment. "People are employed, but they don't really get paid… that sounds like slavery, shit."
"Call it what you will, the people are happy. Do you see my house burned down? Huh? No. They like not working for money and being allowed to make their own lives without my intervention." He shrugged. "Maybe when you get in a relationship with someone of power you can change it. Oh, wait, I'm the only one in power. Too bad, human."
Scipio snapped his fingers sarcastically. "Damn. You agreed that I was cute earlier and everything. Ah, well…"
Lucifer chuckled and opened his eyes a little to evaluate the human. "You wouldn't want to be with me. And that's not a challenge."
"Yeah, alright. Like I said before, though, it wouldn't be the worst decision I've ever made." Scipio yawned and stared at the ceiling again.
"Mmm being in a relationship with the prince of darkness. Definitely not." He rolled his eyes. "Honestly, do you even hear yourself?"
"I've gotten used to ignoring what I say by now. And if you're the Prince of darkness, who's the king?" Scipio turned his eyes back to Lucifer.
