Alexa saw which car he had rented and immediately thought to herself, We totally won’t stand out in that. but it was expensive looking and she was now supposed to be a rich person. She walked up to the car recalling something in her head how gentleman opened the car doors for ladies. She looked to Arsen expectingly.

@PrettyLittlePyro

He realized what she had been expecting and rolled his eyes so hard he was surprised they didn't fall out of his head, but he did as she wanted, opening the door for her and giving a deep, mocking bow. "My lady, your coach awaits you."

@ShadeStar

Alexa knew damn well it was meant to be mockery on his end. She got into the car and sat down looking up at Arsen, “Thank you sir. We’re in public now so like it or not we have to act like a couple.”

@ShadeStar

“Wonderful, darling,” Alexa responded her voice purring a little. She had all intentions to make him in comfortable at this very moment. She turned back to the front window shutting the door so Arsen took the hint to get into the damn car.

@ShadeStar

Alexa paid him no attention. She wasn't going to give him the pleasure of making her frustrated. She had done that enough as of late.

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Had she, though?)

Arsen pulled the car out of the parking lot and into the street, into the chaotic traffic there. He scowled slightly. He should have thought of this, but it was too late.

@ShadeStar

(I mean, in her head yeah.)

Alexa glanced over at Arsen and smiled a little at seeing his scowl. Not a whole lot that it was noticeable and made a comment, "Forgot to account travel time?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

(True.)

"No," he grumbled. "It's just that all of these people are stupid." He honked his horn at someone who had pulled in front of him, who promptly flipped him off. "Assholes," he grumbled.

@ShadeStar

"Well your also being an asshole," Alexa responded unable to hide the amusement in her voice. She leaned back in her seat, "At least you fit into the city well enough. One of the many assholes."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"It's why this is my soul city." New York had never been Arsen's favorite place, although he had visited it many times. "I like to think that I am the biggest asshole here."

@ShadeStar

"You probably are," Alexa responded with a slight nod. Her grin slowly making its way further onto her face, "Have you been here before?"

@ShadeStar

Alexa took a breath in and out. She kept her calm and started to mess with her nails. Her words were chosen carefully when she responded, "No, but there are some people who choose not to travel to certain areas."

@ShadeStar

Alexa rolled her eyes and waited for them to stop before she unbuckled. She shrugged off her sweatshirt and tossed it in the backseat figuring it wouldn't be 'proper', "Good to know. Now let's get this over with."

@PrettyLittlePyro

Arsen opened his door and stepped out. He didn't bother to open her door for her; her earlier performance had convinced him that she really didn't care.

@ShadeStar

Alexa opened the car door for herself. She didn't know what put Arsen in such a mood. She threaded her hand through her hair and brushed off her dress looking to Arsen.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Let's go," he said tonelessly, gesturing in front of him. This place brought back memories that he really didn't want to consider… or think about.

@ShadeStar

Alexa nodded and started walking towards the building. She offered a quiet arm to Arsen as she walked near him, "Where are we meeting within the building?"

@ShadeStar

Alexa nodded along silently glad he had taken the arm and she didn't look like an idiot. She waited a moment before walking forward trying not to appear in awe at the building, "Okay, I'm hoping you know where that is."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"If I don't, you'll just ask for me." He pulled open the doors for her, and waited for her to enter. "It's usually in the front of the hotel, when you first come in."

@ShadeStar

Alexa smiled and entered the door after he opened and waited for him. She looked around the entrance area, "I believe I can see it. Though I don't understand why they would want to meet us in the breakfast area of a different hotel."
