Silver's howl died out a few moments later, sighing he loped off, not really wanting to hear any embarrassing remarks from any of the customers he served that knew about him.
Silver's howl died out a few moments later, sighing he loped off, not really wanting to hear any embarrassing remarks from any of the customers he served that knew about him.
Max finally stopped howling and barking, and settled back down to fall asleep.
Lee let out a shallow sigh. Thank goodness he wasn't about to bark all night…. He slid back under the covers, falling back asleep, even possibly dreaming about his get-together with Silver the next day.
Silver pushed into an all out run back to town, stopping by the east gate. Padding up to it he grinned as some of the guards spooked at seeing a silver furred wolf. One of them, who had scales on the left side of his face, laughed. "So it was you howling out there!" he said motioning for the others to relax.
Silver laughed shifting to wolf form and watching the sighs of relief on the other guards with a mischievous smirk. "Yeah, been awhile since I've given in to that side…" he said regretfully.
Lee rolled around several times, thinking of the regretful things he said during the day. How could I make myself so foolish…. He tossed and turned. There's always a second chance…
"I can tell" said the guard, (We're gonna call him Jake.)
"Yeah yeah Jake," said Silver, "Mind letting me in?"
Jake laughed, opening the guard's entrance, "Have fun in the shop tomorrow!"
Silver laughed, thanking him and slipping through, running off to his shop.
Lee finally opened his eyes. "I give up," He mumbled. "I just can't sleep…."
Max was sound asleep, resting peacefully on the other pillow.
If only there was nothing to worry about, I would be able to sleep better…. He tucked his hands behind his head and stared at the ceiling. …But I bet I'll probably look like garbage if I don't get enough sleep….
Once at his shop Silver quickly checked the time. Midnight. "More than enough time to tidy up!" he sang, knowing he wasn't gonna sleep anytime soon.
Lee closed his eyes and tried to sleep, and eventually he did slip into a deep sleep.
Max was already there, since he'd been resting for hours now.
(Timeskip?)
(Yeah I was running out of things to do anyways!! Lol)
(Overdone much? XD)
Silver went about his normal business in the shop that morning. He hadn't slept last night, though it definitely didn't show.
(Lol I forgot about stuffs, pretend that happened now, idek just go with it)
Max was whining and softly barking, prancing around the bed and nudging Lee.
"Hmmm???…. What….??" He woke up, barely opening an eye as Max licked his face. "Alright!! I'm getting up, you mutt…."
He threw the covers off and got out of bed, turning the fan off.
He stumbled out of his room and into the bathroom to get ready. Gotta make sure I look my best… Lee caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, and combed his hair, shaved and brushed his teeth. Looking good… But nothing is complete without a nice outfit….
(ok… XD)
Silver hummed happily, throwing some various things in a cauldron to make a cold tonic.
(Yeah realized a few things and was like "oh")
Lee hopped back into his bedroom and opened up his closet. Nothing too rugged… He pulled out a good pair of jeans, then took it back. That has a stain on it…. I need to get that out…
After digging around, he pulled out some black dress pants and a simple white buttoned up dress shirt. Perfect….
(Wow he must really be crushing on Silver to get dressed up like that!)
Silver sighed, changing into a nice shirt and pants. Then pulling his hair back in a loose ponytail before heading back downstairs.
(I know :3:3:3)
Lee got his clothes on and dressed himself up all nicely. He turned to Max. "How do I look?"
Max barked happily, and he turned to go downstairs. He reached the mudroom and slipped his regular shoes on, even if they did seem a bit worn. He slipped into the kitchen. I bet he's gonna want some… He put two slices of the sunflower cake in a glass container and went to the door. He put his black cap on and watched Max come down the stairs. "I'll see you later, Max!"
The dog barked happily at him as he went out the door. I bet he's as excited as I am!
Silver hummed to himself quietly as he dealt with a few people that came by his shop, pausing to chat with Jake.
(Wait where is this east gate thing? I should've asked earlier)
(Eastern gate in the town walls?? We were supposed to be doing victorian…. but hey…)
(Well like is Lee's house out east? I want to make sure I get this right, I dunno I don't wanna get this wrong)
(I'd say it's more north or south… it doesnt matter which way he comes in… Remember Silver took the long way home…)
(That's right…. Dang… Okay.)
Lee headed up the road and into the city. Wow… This feels so weird since I'm not carrying my usual goods… He trudged up rhe streets, pulling out Silver's address. Hm… I'm on the right street now… He thought, turning a corner.
Silver finally shooed Jake away, finally able to make the last potion he needed for the season.
Lee traveled up the street, passing buildings one by one. Hm… Let's see… I think it should be around…. Maybe…. Ah! Wait… No…
He walked a bit further. Here we are! He thought happily.
Silver was buzy measuring out a special liquid, carefully dripping it itno a soltion, drop by drop. Can't mess this up now….
