"Uh huh. You better." he grumbled, shaking his head.
"Uh huh. You better." he grumbled, shaking his head.
“I’m a man of my word.” Wilhelm put his library book away into his bag, pulling out a notebook and a pen. “I think it’s about time I got to work on my homework, isn’t it? Almost.. 4:30, wow.”
Connor snorted. "Mm. And…yeah, probably a good idea."
“What do you have for the day?” He cracked open his textbook.
"Uhm…math." he replied. "An' a bit o' English." he shrugged his shoulders, opening Hamlet back up.
“Mm. Have fun with that, then.” Wilhelm began to work, his form hunched over his papers as he wrote.
"Mhm." he started to work on his own homework, stretched out on his bed on his stomach.
Wilhelm blinked slowly, trying to decipher one of his questions. It was badly worded, to be sure, but he stared at it like that would help him understand.
Connor kept working, still stretched out on the bed in a loose, lazy line.
He finally deciphered the words in his head, beginning to write out a lengthy response. It was partially just a bullshit answer, but he figured the lengthier answer would be beneficial.
Connor took a deep breath, rolling onto his side and still working on his homework. He was jotting down answer's every now and again.
Wilhelm flipped the page, letting out a groan when he realized that the work was double-sided. He expected it, sure, but that didn’t make the discovery any more welcome.
Connor continued to do his own homework, starting to hum quietly as he did.
Wilhelm paused for a moment to listen to Connor hum, a soft smile on his face. He turned his head away to obscure his face from Connor’s view.
Connor kept humming softly, pencil scratching across his paper as he worked.
Wilhelm finally got back to work, his pen working quickly on his paper. You could practically hear the cogs turning in his brain.
Connor was still humming and working, rolling onto his stomach again. He kept moving just a little bit, kicking his feet or tapping his fingers, never quite just laying still.
Wilhelm chewed on the tip of his pen, pausing to think about his answer. He stretched out onto his bed, laying on his stomach as his fingers drummed on the paper.
Connor was still working, though he had finished one thing and moved to the next subject.
He closed his notebook, moving to his next subject and letting out a soft sigh.
Connor kept working, humming still. He didn't speak, though, except to let out a sigh.
Wilhelm finished his work after another half hour or so, shutting his books and dropping them into his bag.
Connor glanced over at Wilhelm for a moment, then went back to his own work. He was nearly done, but still.
He checked the time. 5:30. Wilhelm picked his copy of Twelfth Night back up, resuming his spot in the book.
Connor kept working, pencil scratching across the paper, frowning just a little bit.
