Connor waved back. He headed outside to take a walk, his hands shoved down into his pockets.
Connor waved back. He headed outside to take a walk, his hands shoved down into his pockets.
As soon as Wilhelm got in the dorm, he kicked off his shoes and drew the curtains shut. He collapsed on the bed, grabbing a pillow to cover his head with, and tried to fall asleep.
Connor kept walking, humming softly to himself. It was drizzling lightly, but it was england. It was always drizzling lightly here.
It took what felt like hours of restless tossing and turning, but Wilhelm finally fell asleep. Less fitful than he had expected, but not exactly peaceful either.
Connor eventually came back from his walk, red hair a little bit damp. He was quiet when he entered the dorm, not wanting to disturb Wilhelm.
He still tossed every once in a while, jerking around slightly on his bed, but was otherwise fully asleep. Wilhelm had a blanket tugged up to about his waist, showing that he clearly didn’t bother to even consider putting on pajamas before going to bed.
Connor sighed softly, and sat down on his bed, taking off his shoes and getting ready for bed. He read for a while, curled up on the bed with his book.
Wilhelm stirred awake for a few minutes, groaning in annoyance at the simple fact that he was awake. He tugged his pillow back over his head, fighting to fall back asleep.
Connor glanced over at Wilhelm for a moment, then went back to his book, starting to him softly.
He woke up after a handful of minutes- 30 or so- moving the pillow from his head and staring up at the ceiling in silence. His headache had subsided somewhat, maybe halfway, but that awful pounding, while not as painful, was still beating on him.
Connor looked over at Wilhelm when the other moved, but didn't speak, still reading. He was already in his pajamas, having changed into them earlier.
Wilhelm sat up, tugging off his uniform shirt and going to change into his pajamas. The stuffy school clothes were not ideal for sleeping, surprisingly.
Connor eventually rolled over, putting his book away and snuggling into his blankets.
He crashed right back into his, worming back underneath his blankets, and trying to force himself back into sleep.
He looked over at Wilhelm for a moment, then closed his eyes to go to sleep.
Wilhelm fell asleep as well after a couple minutes, resting on his side, facing the wall.
Connor fell asleep, curled up on his stomach.
(timeskip?)
(Yeah! I'll get it if you want!)
(Sure!)
He gradually stirred awake as the (metaphorical) rooster crowed. Wilhelm glanced first outside the window, squinting and partially covering his eyes to block out the brightest sunlight. He sat up, trying to force himself fully awake to start the day.
Connor was still asleep, curled up in his bed with the blankets tangled around his body. His red hair was an absolute mess, unruly and sticking up everywhere.
Wilhelm looked over at Connor to see if he was awake. No. The sight of his wild red curls was enough to make Wilhelm's heart threaten to melt, but he pulled himself away to get dressed for school.
Connor let out a sleepy little sound, rolling over, one arm draping off the bed, those thin, pale fingers dangling towards the ground.
The noise caught Wilhelm's attention. "Are you awake?" He glanced over at Connor. No, again. He felt more than a little creepy looking at the other boy while he was asleep. "Good morning?" He tried, walking over to Connor's bed while fixing his tie.
Connor cracked an eye open, looking up at Wilhelm. "Unggg." he grumbled. "Ah dinnae wanna get up." he rubbed his face with one hand.
