"That's tragic, Connor, but you still have to." Wilhelm stood over his bed, still trying to get his tie fixed. For whatever reason, it just didn't want to cooperate today.
"That's tragic, Connor, but you still have to." Wilhelm stood over his bed, still trying to get his tie fixed. For whatever reason, it just didn't want to cooperate today.
He whined softly, shaking his head a little bit. "Dinnae wanna." he grumbled.
"Come off it.." Wilhelm insisted, giving up on his tie for the moment's being and leaving it draped around his collar. "I didn't either, and yet."
Connor whined again, curling up into a little ball on the bed. "Tha's because yer perfect." he grumbled under his breath. "Us normal humans dinnae get up so Early."
Wilhelm's face tinged a pale rose at that. "I'm.. not perfect, Connor." He snorted lightly. "You know the rest of the school gets up around this time too, don't you?"
"Well they aren't normal humans either." he grumbled again, squirming a little bit and peering up at Wilhelm.
"Hm." Wilhelm's voice had a bit of humor to it, but given that it was the early morning, not a whole lot was there. "Whether or not I'm a normal human, you still have class. Come on, get up."
Connor grumbled, sitting up and rubbing at his face. "Hnnggg." was the only thing he said in response, looking around for his clothes.
"Mmm. Riveting argument." Wilhelm teased, stepping up to his mirror in attempts to finally get his tie tied. His headache had left, thank god, otherwise he'd probably be stuck fumbling around with it like a cat batting a ball of yarn.
Connor sighed loudly, finally finding his clothes and starting to get dress, a soft groan leaving his mouth. "Ah dinnae wanna." he grumped again.
"I'm well aware." He responded, finally getting his necktie straight with a triumphant Aha! "But believe me, this won't kill you. You'll get used to waking up this early eventually."
"Noooo." he complained, buttoning up his shirt. "Ah won't. 's goin' tae cause m' Death, an' then yeh'll be sorry. Sorry fer makin' me get up so early like some sort o' uncultured heathen."
"It won't kill you, first of all." Wilhelm rolled his eyes, unable to hide the tiny smile on his lips. "Second, pray tell, Connor, how does waking up at a reasonable hour make one uncultured?"
"It will kill me." Connor grumbled, searching around for his shoes and then putting them on. "An' it just does."
"Mhm. Again, I'm astounded by your arguments here, who are your sources?" Wilhelm put his shoes on as well, now spending his time preening in the mirror.
"Myself." Connor finished putting his shoes on, standing and yawning, stretching slowly.
(I’m so sorry about that gap! Some things in life took a fat nosedive, but I’m feeling better for the time being!)
“One of the most reputable sources, truly.” Wilhelm cracked another smile. He finally finished grooming his hair after what felt like hours to anyone on the outside, stepping away from the mirror.
(it's totally fine! Aw I'm sorry, Goblin)
"Obv'sly." Connor replied, yawning again and shaking his head slightly.
(It's all working itself out, thankfully! Thanks, Ice!)
Wilhelm grabbed his school bag, fishing through to make sure that he had everything with him before heading to the door. "Should we go, then?"
(that's good! You're welcome 🙂)
Connor looked over at him, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. "Mm. Fine. Ah still say tha' this'll be th' death o' me." He grumbled.
"You can say that all you want, Connor." Wilhelm opened the door, slipping outside, "What time is it.." He checked his watch. "We have about 45 minutes to eat before classes start, alright?'
He groaned a little bit. "Uh huh." he replied, rubbing his eyes and following Wilhelm.
Wilhelm walked them into the dining hall, not bothering to set his bag down before getting in line. After all, they didn't have long to eat before they had class.
Connor got in line behind Wilhelm, still yawning and rubbing his eyes and just making a lot of noise in general.
Wilhelm turned back to look at Connor, a slight grin on his face. "Are you alright? I thought you were a little more awake than that."
