(Hmm… maybe the first mission just… ends poorly? Or they both turn up murdered, by the Clay Man, but nobody knows that so they like, start to distrust each other?)

(By ends poorly, I mean them dying but you probably picked up on that, maybe an explosion or asphyxiation of sorts?)

((oh yeah, what could work is having the characters pile back to the house, nursing and dealing with injuries, and the fact that eden and victor are gone. and then boom, new people are tossed in.))

(Oh hell yeah! And one of them, literally being named Victor and sharing a similar past, could easily work for drama. Plus, I get a feeling that despite OG Vic's assholery, nobody actually wanted him to die. OOH WAIT WHAT IF the Clay Man lays a trap the two fall into and they, like, suffocate? Or something, we don't actually have to use that.)

(This much less dramatic, but is it possible Starlight’s Victor could’ve died from his sickle cell anemia?)
(Also random thing: I decided not to make age a factor for Mina in using her ability, it just seemed out of place to me for some reason. Not that you probably remember)

(Ooh wait now I came up with an Idea for a classic lit based thing that I want to use Sora and Hurricane for, who shall I drag into it for? It's like, a film noir detective themed thing, but a bit less dark and gritty since I love me some "humor that caters to me specifically" thrown about in there. But also, there's magic. Among other things.)

(I might also rope in some folklore and mythology for the peeps who know more about that genre.)

(But I'm wondering if I should do it and if I can rope anyone here into it.)
