Mina and Johnathan, you two seem very tenacious and perhaps more than commonly intelligent." Well, at least they were trying, right? Even if they sounded awkward and almost backhanded with some of it. "And Eden, you are quite the fascinating person and I look forward to learning more about you. Alek, I don't know much about you, but I believe you seem to be capable, in your own way."

Alek cleared his throat faintly. "I, ah…thanks." he said softly, not really sure what to say in response.

(Oof I just read through this and I definitely want to stalk (since I'm like, wayyy too late to join lol). I've been reading a book of Penny Dreadfuls (not the TV show mind you, like, stuff like good old Frankenstein and Sweeney Todd) and Jane Austen and I've really been getting into the classics lmao.)
