Name: Sora Delaware
Age: 22
Gender/Pronouns: Nonbinary but in serious denial about it, insists he's "a real man" due to internalized transphobia and issues with toxic masculinity. Currently uses he/him.
Orientation: Bi but again, in denial.
Appearance: With long lashes, short dark hair, and brilliant blue eyes, Sora is probably built to be incredibly cute and huggable and generally nonthreatening. Hoo boy. He's tall, about 6'0", and built like a horse, strong but padded with a bit of chub due to a slightly lower metabolism than is standard. He is extremely pale due to living on a space station and thus not getting a whole lot of sun, with a wide, long nose and thin pale rose red lips.
Personality: Sora is very passive and agreeable, has all the qualities of a female love interest in your standard Jane Austen novel. While he is a bit passive he's still ambitious, wanting to reach for greatness and hold it in the palm of his hand. He is what one would typically describe as "plucky" and is generally quite intelligent, except for socially.
Skills: Sora specializes in both medical and legal proceedings, as well as being in the know of a lot of great science and alchemic theory from cramming a bunch of it into his head over the course of like, a year or two.
Hobbies: s c i e n c e and being a good friend. Okay, let me explain further. Sora generally doesn't make time for any "irrelevant" interests as he is typically either sacrificing his wellbeing for others or perfecting his latest scientific theory, no in between. He doesn’t know much about science so he usually does the self-sacrificing bit. He used to like gardening, but his father said it wasn’t a man’s work, so he quit. Happens to know a lot about entomology for reasons of “he was interested in it in college.”
Backstory: Sora grew up wealthy, and well-liked by his peers. His peers were effectively aristocratic cult members, but still. He was kind, respectable, and generally an enjoyable person to be around, if quiet. His parents had a significant age gap and his father was abusive to his mother and siblings, as well as constantly pressuring Sora to be a real man. Sora didn't question any of this, growing up on aristocratic cult Pluto you saw this a lot. He eventually went to the Jupiter School of Law and immediately dropped out due to the pressure, and didn't know what to do afterwards as his father had been preparing him to be a lawyer all his life. He ended up going back home for two years, then, at only fifteen, went to medical school and got a Master's in nursing, becoming an RN at 20 years old and continuing to practice for a year before subsequently disappearing for six months. From Sora's point of view of the accident…

Other: Sora's theme song is Teen Idle by MARINA. Tries to be low-key autistic but always manages to be high-key, like me lol. Anyways he and Hurricane have a device implanted in their body that will kill them at any moment Sora pleases, he knows if someone learns their secret they’ll be finished anyways so basically… yes. That is unfortunate.

Name: Hurricane Maryland
Age: 22
Gender/Pronouns: Nonbinary, any pronouns but likes using feminine terminology.
Orientation: Bisexual and proud baby!
Appearance: Hurricane has short, choppy, brilliant fuschia hair with gold streaks, and dresses like a walking fashion disaster. They love bright colors and gaudy prints, as well as heavy bright makeup and ridiculous swirling designs in rainbow colors like flames around their eyes and any shade of purple lip gloss. They have pale skin and wide brown eyes, as well as a small, pointy nose and full lips. They are 4'9" but usually wear heels to remedy this and have a convenient, albeit stilettoed weapon. Their build is skinny and agile, with lithe, hairy arms and legs and a bit of light stubble. They look a little freaky, but you can't place exactly where the freaky is, they just make you Straight Up Uncomfortable.
Personality: Very, very loud and almost deliberately socially blind, not caring to mask their social ineptness one bit. They are emotional, driven, and aggressive, making no excuses and no justifications for their egregious behavior. They don't care to care, and definitely make zero room for anyone's bullshit.
Skills: Anything useful to begging, lying, stealing, and cheating their way to the top of the crime circle. They can do it all, and have had to to pay off their debts, despite the fact that they’re nowhere close.
Hobbies: Surprisingly, color-by-number worksheets. They enjoy the quiet it gives their mind. They also enjoy gardening and studying natural history and the terraforming of the Solar planets.
Backstory: In debt due to gambling most of Sora's fortune away. Why did they have access to Sora's fortune? Who knows. Only Sora does, and he wouldn't tell you even if you believed it. Oh well, you get to know, at least. You're the reader, readers should know things. But don't tell anyone, alright?

Sora found the secret to splitting the good and evil from a person, or so he thought, in an old journal written by a distant ancestor whose name was fully scratched out and the last few pages, the end to the tale, desecrated. But Hurricane was not like anything he expected. At first, they were an anonymizing mask, made to allow Sora to go out and live a life he wanted to live. But eventually, something stirred deep within the depths of Sora's mind, a presence unlike anything Sora had encountered before. Eventually, who was who? Was it Sora or Hurricane's mind now? Who was what they were supposed to be? Suddenly, Sora knew he fucked up. But it was too late, Hurricane had destroyed his, their, life. Or had Sora destroyed it himself? Anyways, Hurricane wasn't leaving, so Sora packed his bags and headed to Soul to escape Hurricane's debts, but it turned out that Soul belonged to the one person he was running away from: the Clay Man. So yeah, life does suck right now for our lad. But back to Hurricane. What are they? What is their purpose? And are they really evil, or something very much different?
Other: Theme song is Forget by MARINA. High-key autistic and proud of it, very openly stimmy.
