"Yeah, sounds like Jax." She giggled. "I'm not surprised that's how you two met."
"Yeah, sounds like Jax." She giggled. "I'm not surprised that's how you two met."
“Yeah. It’s very typical of him. He’s a big softie on the inside.”
"So I've been told. And shown. Kind of. I mean, he wouldn't have saved me if he was a cold hearted bastard, right?"
He nodded in agreement.
She combed through his hair with her fingers. "He's really cute."
“Don’t let him hear you say that. He has enough of an ego as is.”
"I know he does but I think it's true."
“Yeah you’re right he is pretty cute.” He smiled
"See? Don't argue when you agree with me!" She laughed.
He laughed. “Doesn’t mean he needs to know though.”
"Maybe not but still, at least we agree on something."
“True. I think we probably actually agree about a lot of things.”
"We probably do and we don't even know it."
“Yeah.” Jax stirred a bit in his sleep, as if he was going to wake up soon. They still had a few minutes though.
She noticed his stirring and smiled. "Looks like sleeping beauty might have to lose the sleeping part of his title soon."
“Seems like it.” Ethan replied with a small smile.
"I'd take it that we won't mention this conversation when he wakes up?"
“Yup. It’s our secret. Though it really isn’t much.”
"Hey, you said it yourself, he doesn't need more of an ego than he already has. That's a big enough secret for me to keep it."
Ethan chuckled a bit and then Jax was awake, blinking drowsily, his hair a mess.
She pushed his hair out of his face, humming softly.
Jax blinked groggily, looking up at her.
"Morning sunshine. So glad you finally decided to join us again."
“Is It morning already?” He asked deliriously
"Afraid so darling. Now come on, wake up before my shoulder goes completely numb."
