He hummed softly and tilted his head up "I can't say the same for future people though."

"Y-You don't need to hurt anyone for my sake…" Nathaniel said quietly, whining as V moved out of his reach.

"to late, anyone who cares hurt my angel will get what's coming." He said, tilting his head back down so Nathaniel could reach

"Mm…" Nathaniel continued kissing V deeply, but didn't try making out, because he didn't know that was a thing.

V smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Nathaniel's waist "so does this mean I'm forgiven for my outburst?"

"What outburst?" Nathaniel asked between kisses, entirely serious.

"the one about your dad and him traumatizing you." He replied softly, caressing the back of his head

"You didn't do anything wrong, love… I probably needed to hear that, and it's probably something you should know about."

V nodded and kissed Nathaniel softly "you never deserved any of that love."

"What about when Lloyd…? He hurt me pretty bad then…"

"your brother's death is not your fault. He chose to save you. The most ho erable thing any being can do. He knew what he was doing and willingly sacrificed himself for you. Your dad may not be at peace with that but Lloyde is."

Nathaniel nodded and hugged V tighter. "I… th-thank you…"

He hugged the other tight a d kissed his head "I didn't do anything love."

"You're here for me… that's more than my parents ever did, and I've known them far longer than I've known you."

He smiled softly "okay, I'll give you that one." He tucked the other under his chin and curled up

"And you love me, and you let me cuddle, and you pet me, and you don't make fun of me for liking to eat bagels plain…" Nathaniel went on.

He laughed "ok,ok I get it. Except for the last one. I do make fun of you for eating plain bagels." He kissed Nathan iels lips to silence the rambling, hugging him close

"Well, not too much…" Nathaniel let V kiss him, taking that as his cue to shut up.

V laughed softly "you really need to try something else for breakfast, angel."

Nathaniel huffed a bit. "Well, what do you suggest?"

"anything, hell even jelly with the bagel. Just some sort of change. My angel will not be eating the same plain bagel forever,"

"You can surprise me, then… make whatever you want." Nathaniel sighed a bit, still hugging V.

"ok,I will tomorrow." V promised "oh a job offering came in this morning for you. I'm not sure what but they sent in an address to meet up."

"What job? Do we have to call them or something to say when we're available to meet." Nathaniel asked. "I haven't got a phone."

"It's ok, I called and said we'd meet them tomorrow." He reasurred "they never said any specifics about the job."
