I let out my laugh this time, shook my head in an amused fashion. “You’re not making me uncomfortable, don’t worry, I don’t mind. You don’t have to stop being a couple just because I’m here.”

Sterling's POV:

With a chuckled of my own, I grinned back at her. "Well, thanks. I'm glad we're not scaring you away, then. I'm not sure I would be able to stop being with her for a long period of time. Or a short one, for that matter."

Eden’s POV:

I quickly finished my brownie, wiping my mouth to make sure there wasn’t anything stuck there while Sterling talked.

Once he finished, I rubbed the back of my neck, trying not to let his words affect me.

“What can I say?” I muttered under my breath. “I’m irresistible.”

Sterling's POV:

My grin grew at Eden's words, and I turned to look at her fully. It was unexpected for her to say that, but it was totally true… She was irresistible…

"Mm… Very true," I hummed, my smile softening as I looked down at her lovingly.

I finished off my pizza and leaned back against the wall, letting them do their flirty thing. My mind wandered…. returning, of course, to Gray.

Eden’s POV:

I whipped my head up in his direction, startled by his response. I locked eyes with him and his warm gaze sent a shiver down my spine. Sterling’s eyes whenever they looked at me was the best sight I’d ever seen. They’d become so warm, so soft—gentle yet demanding and it was enough to make me lose it.

I, however, didn’t plan on making Violeta a third wheel, so I cleared my throat, trying to fight off the blush on my cheeks.

“I—I was being sarcastic,” I said hastily. “I’m glad you think so, though.”

(Lol. "Letting them do their flirty thing…" Violeta, you will soon learn that that's about the only thing they do when they're around each other…)

Sterling's POV:

"Anytime, babe," I chuckled, slowly shaking my head in amusement. "So, anyway… You said games were where, again, Violeta?"

“Right this way.” Grinning and very much amused, I started towards the hallway, where two doors were open and accessible to the party guests. “Just in here..”

Eden’s POV:

I nodded at her, looking around. It wasn’t a bad party, I told myself. It wasn’t. I was glad there was no alcohol, no crowds, no annoying people.

“You don’t have to be anywhere, do you?” I questioned with a raised eyebrow after realizing she was probably with a friend before she saw us.
