(She wasn’t dressed for a party. XD)

Eden’s POV:

I laughed at Sterling.

“Just wear anything, Ry. You look good in anything,” I told him as I took out a black t-shirt and jeans. If I had known what time it was, I would have just gotten dressed accordingly.

I looked at Sterling again before heading straight to the bathroom.

“Oh, you could wear that red and black button-up shirt? You look really good in that,” I said to him before I entered the bathroom.

Sterling’s POV:

I chuckled softly to myself as I watch her walk into the bathroom and close the door behind herself. She was cute sometimes, and I was sure she didn’t even know it.

Standing, I made my way over to the dresser and looked threiygh my shirts. When I found the one I wanted, a black and red plaid shirt, I pulled it out and looked down at my pants. The jeans I wore would look fine with it, so I wouldn’t have to change them.

Eden’s POV:

I changed quickly and looked at myself in the mirror. Why did I wear black too much? I mean, it looked good on me, but perhaps I should start trying more colors…

Shaking my head, I opened the door and stepped into the room. I needed one more piece of article to complete my look.

Sterling has already changed when I walked out and I smiled.

“Are you ready?” I asked softly as I walked towards him. I was tired, but Sterling felt like my charger.

Eden’s POV:

I shook my head and walked over to the closet in Sterling’s side, taking out one of his jackets and sticking my tongue out at him as I put it on.

“Yup, I’m ready now,” I said cheekily. The jacket was too big on me (of course it was), but I liked the big sleeves and the way the jacket practically engulfed me. It also smelled like Sterling, so there’s that.

Sterling’s POV:

I grinned when she put my jacket on. I loved it when she wore my things; she looked cute in them, even though they were too big for her.

“You look hot in that, Eden. Careful, I might have to hold the other guys back,” I teased her with a chuckle.

Eden’s POV:

I hid my face in my hands, suddenly feeling shy.

“You know all you need to do is wrap your arm around my shoulders and glare at everyone and they won’t need anyone to hold them back, right?” I peeked at him through my hands.

I was glad he was talking to me like normal, not letting the earlier conversation ruin the way we got together. I was also glad my fear didn’t make me push him away.

“I shouldn’t have suggested that shirt,” I said to him, frowning. “That one makes you look extremely attractive.”

Sterling’s POV:

I winked at her and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. “Well, the we’ll be the best-looking people there. Look out, Cash, Steed is coming to steal your title of ‘Couples Goals’ tonight!”

Eden’s POV:

I burst out laughing at that, clutching my stomach tightly.

I remembered graduation day, where the president gave his speech and practically put all four of us on the spotlight, and then declaring Cash as the leading ship. Their names were so lame, but they didn’t fail to crack me up every time.

“Oh my God,” I leaned against Sterling, my laughter reduced to chuckles. “That day was so unexpected, Ry. Those ship names crack me up every time, but you’re not wrong!”

Sterling’s POV:

I laughed with her, holding her tightly. When we finally started to calm down, I pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

“They were so bad… I can’t believe that really happened. Are we even sure it did?”

Eden’s POV:

I leaned into him, snickers escaping my mouth.

“I’m pretty sure it did, little prince,” I teased him. “Everyone heard it”

Eden’s POV:

“All right, Your Highness,” I laughed, standing on my toes in an attempt to fix his collar. “Let’s go.”

Lillian and I arrived at the party before Eden and Sterling— And I had to admit, I was surprised. Even though I had been told how laid back it would be, I was not expecting to enter a nice apartment lit by multicoloured lights with upbeat, but by no means blaring or annoyingly loud. People were dancing in the living room, laughing, having fun, but it wasn’t packed or sweaty. Just young men and women having fun. Drinks were being served in the kitchen, not too saturated with alcohol, some just simply non-intoxicated. There were no drugs, or drunks.

Eden’s POV:

“You can drive,” I told him, patting him on the arm. “That way I can look at you through the whole ride and not crash the car.”

Sterling’s POV:

I snorted and grabbed one of my other jackets from the closet before stuffing my wallet in my back pocket. “Yeah, unless I end up staring at you the entire time and crash the car.”

Eden’s POV:

“Don’t worry, sweetheart, I’ll make sure you don’t,” I winked at him before grabbing my handbag and the apartment keys. “Now let’s go already. Goodness, Sterling, you’re so lazy!”

Eden’s POV:

We pulled up to the address provided by Violeta. I hugged Sterling’s jacket closer to myself, feeling a little nervous. Even though it didn’t seem very crowded, I didn’t do well in social situations.

Finally, I unbuckled my seatbelt and stepped out of the car slowly, waiting for Sterling to do the same.

Sterling’s POV:

I got out of the car soon after Eden did, sticking my keys in my jacket pocket. Walking over to the other side of the car, I grinned softly at Eden and wrapped my arm around her.

“You ready, babe?” I asked softly, placing a gentle kiss to the top of her head.

Eden's POV:

I nodded slowly, sticking closer to Sterling as we got closer to the house.

"Truthfully speaking," I looked up at Sterling just before we entered. "This is the second party I've ever been to, the first being prom."

I pushed the door open and was greeted with a rather surprising sight. It wasn't really what I had been expecting–Wattpad portraying all college parties was definitely wrong. The party Violeta invited us to wasn't extremely loud, nor was it too crowdy. The air was clean to breathe in, and it didn't stink of alcohol.

"Come on," I slipped my hand in Sterling's all the while hugging his arm. "Let's go find Violeta."
