Sterling’s POV:

“But… babe, are you sure? Because I will come get you. A little rain won’t hurt me,” I insisted, pausing halfway through getting my shoes on.

Eden's POV:

"Sterling," I said sternly (:P). "It's okay. Stay home and stay safe for me. Okay?"

(Lol…)

*Sterling’s POV:**

I sighed and sat down against the wall. “All right… Fine… I love you, Eden. I’ll see you tomorrow, then.”

Eden’s POV:

“I love you, too,” I smiled into the phone. “Be careful, all right?”

Sterling's POV:

"Of course. Bye, babe," I said softly before hanging up. I sighed and took my shoes back off before heading to the kitchen. What should I eat…?

Eden’s POV:

I missed him. The second he hung up, I missed hearing his voice. I pushed that aside and looked at Violeta.

“I guess I’m crashing at yours tonight,”

I grinned, carefully leaning a large canvas against the wall. “Great. Lucky for you, my roommate is staying over with her boyfriend tonight, I can call her and ask if you can use her bed.”

Eden’s POV:

I walked over to Violeta, eyeing the canvas on the wall.

“All right, thank you,” I told her before I frowned, biting on my lower lip. Finally, I turned over to her and asked the question that had been eating at me. “Do you think people should tell their partners everything?”

I didn’t. There was so much about me that left Sterling in the dark. Things I didn’t tell him because I was afraid. Things I knew I should tell him but couldn’t.

My brows drew together at the sudden question. "Well, you have a right to your privacy. You shouldn't feel obligated to tell anyone everything, partner or not. So I think that you should only have to share what you're comfortable with sharing."

Eden’s POV:

I nodded, chewing on my lower lip.

“What if it’s something you should tell your partner?” I questioned, raising an eyebrow. “But you’re not… okay sharing it?”

“If you’re not okay with sharing it, then you shouldn’t have to.” I tilted my head to the side. “But what do you mean by ‘should’?”

Eden's POV:

I ran a finger through my wet hair, not knowing how to elaborate. I was never good with my words, much less good with people.

I opened my mouth before closing it.

"It's fine," I brushed it off. "I'm just curious. I… don't really know how these things are supposed to work."

I didn't believe her for a second, but I humoured her and nodded along. "Just remember that.. well, I don't know Sterling very well, but he clearly loves you. You can trust him."

Eden’s POV:

I frowned at her.

“It’s not about that,” I shook my head. Since when had I been so open about what I felt and what bothered me? Perhaps it was the warm atmosphere Violeta had, or perhaps the absence of Ashley left me quite lonely. “It’s a little… bizarre for someone like me. Sterling is… really compassionate. He’s very loyal. It’s not that I don’t trust him. It’s the fact that I don’t know what he’ll do once he finds out. Anyway, is there anything we can do to pass time?”

My frown mirrored her own. I was extremely tempted to ask what she wasn't telling him, but judging by the way she abruptly changed the subject, I figured she'd rather not talk about it. "We could watch something? Trinity and I share a Netflix account."

Eden’s POV:

I shrugged.

“If Netflix has anything good,” I said, setting the empty cup on the sink before moving to wash it. “They recently removed really good movies, so that’s a bummer.”

"Yeah," I agreed, grabbing my laptop and plopping down on my bed. "And don't bother with washing the cup. Doyou watch any shows?"

Eden’s POV:

I raised my eyebrows before shrugging.

“I’ve recently started watching Supernatural with Sterling, and I’m on the last season of The Flash,” I answered, taking a seat next to her.

No spoilers though I'm only on season 4)

"I've never heard of the first one, but I had a friend who loved the Flash." I bit my lip, logging onto my Netflix account.
