Please, Callie signed under the stool, glancing down and letting more of his fringe fall into his face.

Lucas hesitated before bringing the bottle up to his lips with trembling hands. He couldn't deny how good the water felt running down his throat, but another part of him hated himself for giving in.
Callie smiled in reassurance, not needing to sign to show it was good. Thank you.
"Just like that, hon. Keep going." The nurse started working on something else, but still kept a close eye on Lucas.
Callie watched Lucas too, not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable but wanting to make him okay again.
Lucas threw the bottle across the room and held his head in his hands, trembling. I can't… I can't… I don't deserve it… The nurse quickly got up and came over to him. "Lucas, calm down, baby… it's alright…" He shook his head. "I'll get you some more meds, okay?" He nodded a bit and she brought over the bottle from before, giving it to Callie. Make sure he takes two.
Callie nodded, moving closer to Lucas and holding out two pills in his metal palm, praying Lucas would take them.
Lucas tentatively took the pills and dry swallowed these as well, moving closer to Callie. He gets clingy when he's stressed. Be careful. The nurse warned Callie.
It's okay, He reassured her, hesitantly putting an arm around Lucas, unsure of his reaction.
Lucas crawled into his lap and hugged him tightly, trembling. I warned you. The nurse shrugged, laughing quietly to herself.
Callie smiled, blushing a little bit. How on earth did he get into these situations? The perfect prince, hugging him. He wrapped his other arm around Lucas anyway, keeping him close.
Lucas buried his face in Callie's shoulder, unable to relax yet. He seemed drained despite it being early in the day.
Callie let him, his blush more visible against his tan skin now than before, although Lucas didn't seem to see it.
Lucas curled his legs around Callie's waist and his arms around his neck, needing the closeness and too upset to be embarrassed yet. The nurse just kept quietly laughing to herself and returned to work on other things.
Callie kept him close, letting him do whatever he needed without complaint. Why would anyone complain about this? Having an adorable prince sitting in your lap, hugging you like his life depended on it. Callie knew Lucas needed some time to let him calm down, so he gave him time.
"I-I'm sorry…" Lucas whispered, his voice breaking. He knew Callie couldn't hear him and his hands were shaking far too badly to sign anything, so all he could do was hug Callie tighter and hope he'd relax.
Callie rubbed his back gently, holding him close, as he knew Lucas just needed closeness to calm down.
After a few minutes, Lucas finally seemed to start relaxing. Probably because his meds kicked in. Either way, he wasn't as tense and his shaking wasn't as strong.
Callie noticed this and relaxed his hold on Lucas the slightest bit, although he didn't let go quite yet.
Lucas reluctantly pulled away, repeatedly signing 'sorry'. He couldn't make eye contact with Callie and he was starting to blush a bit. He hadn't bothered to move his legs yet, though.
It's okay, Callie signed back repeatedly, not sure if he should take his other hand from around Lucas' shoulders yet.
Did I make you uncomfortable? Lucas glanced up at Callie nervously.
Of course not, Callie signed back, a warm smile on his face.
Are you sure? I shouldn't have clung to you like that. I'm sorry. Lucas didn't seem very reassured, probably also because he was still sitting in Callie's lap.
It's okay, seriously, Callie signed, his free hand still around Lucas' shoulders.
