A guy ((I'll be playing the guy, I don't really care if it's gay or lesbian or straight)) has become an introvert because everyone he meets, trusts, and reveals his secret to is disgusted or offended by his black blood. He just wants somebody. But not everyone is as truly pure as he really is.

Sure! What kind of character do you think I should use? Equally dark (ie, Scipio, which means they could bond over being outcasts), normal (would give an example but currently sick and brain dead), or very innocent (ie, probably Nathaniel as he's an angry cinnamon roll angel or Cas or something)
Or I could genderbend or make a new female character because I need to get better at role-playing females lol
Whatever feels best for you. :) If it helps, I'll be using my lovely Callie. Callie is a deaf one, so he barely speaks. Sign language is obscure, so he knows it but doesn't use it often. Also has mechanical arms.
Alright, cool! Is there like, a best way for my character to communicate? It's not likely any of them know sign language
He's a difficult one to write, normally when interacting with anyone who doesn't know it he justs does hand gestures and facial expressions until he gets to know them better
Alright cool. What exactly causes someone's blood to darken? Just crimes or just, like, staying out after curfew to hang out with your friends or something?
If it's just crimes, what if my character was like, a princess part of some sort of prophecy (or something similar lol) that required her blood to be pure, so she's been cooped up a lot to keep her blood white? So when they bump into each other, her blood is still pure. Also, a princess is more likely to know sign language
