Alex rubbed her shoulders gently and leaned his head on hers again, smiling a little. On the inside, he felt nervous. What would she think of his song?

(Sure. I guess I'll start. Lol.)
The movie came to an end and the credits rolled. Autumn hummed "Safe & Sound" as it played on the tv, moving to it a little. She liked the song and had actually sung it for an audition once.
Alex looked down at her as she shifted in a dance. He smiled a little. “Like the song?”
"Yeah, it's one of my favorites," Autumn admitted, looking up at him with a sheepish smile.
Alex kissed her nose. “It’s a really good song. I like it a lot too.”
Autumn crinkled her nose at the kiss.
"Speaking of music…" She trailed off expectantly, giving him a look.
Alex huffed. “I’ll have to grab my laptop, which is far, far away.”
"You have two good legs," Autumn teased, poking him in the ribs.
“Alas! My brain is not nearly as good.” Alex giggled.
"That's obviously not true. It's good enough to that you can write songs. And that you're dating me," Autumb joked with a chuckle.
Alex giggled. “It did hit it out of the ballpark with you.” He kissed her gently on the cheek.
Autumn snorted and waved him away. "Okay, okay, lover boy. Go get your laptop so I can hear your song. And I will make you do it if I have to."
Alex groaned lazily. “Noooooo my laptop is so far awayyyyyyyy.”
"Hm… Then maybe I'll just go get it for you," Autumn said, getting to her feet and starting toward the office.
“It’s not in there!” Alex chided with a hum. He rose off of the couch slowly.
Autumn huffed and spun around, putting her hands in her hips. "You're impossible."
Alex laughed slowly. “Didn’t we have this conversation already?”
"Probably," Autumn said, shrugging as her lips twitched up in a smile.
Alex ducked and took his laptop from under his couch and plopped down again. “Cool. I thought we did.”
"I thought you said it was far away!" Autumn exclaimed, gaping at the computer.
“It was! I had to get up and walk a couple feet!” Alex beamed as he opened it.
Autumn scoffed and sat back down, pulling her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. She rested her chin on her knees as she watched Alex get ready.
Alex pulled up his music-making app and scrolled through his files. He finally found the song. It was titled Her; 12/03/23.
Autumn sighed quietly through her nose as she waited patiently. She was actually very excited to hear the song, but she hoped she hadn't gone too far with all of her pushing.
Alex clicked on the song and his all too familiar voice and instrumentals sung through the speakers. It was a very sad, slow-paced song, but incredibly catchy.
