“We’re not in college anymore. We don’t need to eat breakfast at seven-o’-clock.”
“We’re not in college anymore. We don’t need to eat breakfast at seven-o’-clock.”
Autumn frowned up at him. "But… whipped cream!"
“But… healthy and balanced diets!” Alex smiled warmly anyway. “Let’s go upstairs and watch a movie.”
"Fine…" Autumn grumbled, still frowning.
Alex took her hands and moved her shoulders back and forth in a dance. “What do you wanna watch?”
Autumn cracked a smile. "I don't know. You pick."
Alex smiled and kissed her. “There’s that smile. We’ll pick together.”
Autumn snorted and rolled her eyes a bit. "Okay. Do you have Netflix?"
“Yes I do.” Alex grinned. “I also have Hulu.”
"Do you have any ideas for what we should watch?" Autumn asked as she started to make her way to the couch.
Alex followed and plopped down haphazardly on his comfy leather couch. “Nope. Any ideas?”
"Um… 'The Hunger Games'? I haven't seen it in a while," Autumn suggested with a shrug.
Alex plucked up his remote. “Sure! Great idea.” He turned on his TV and went to Hulu.
Autumn swung her legs up onto the couch and laid them across Alex's lap. "I know. I'm amazing."
Alex rolled his eyes, and after selecting a movie, set his arms across the back of the couch.
“The greatest person alive.”
"You betcha," Autumn chuckled, shifting so that she was leaning against his side, her legs across the other end of the couch.
Alex chuckled too and kissed her head. “Love you.”
"Love you, too," Autumn said, tilting her head a bit to kiss his cheek.
Alex smiled and kissed her back gently. “I love you more.”
"But I love you most," Autumn argued with a grin.
Alex hugged her closer, feathering her face in kisses. “No, I love you most!”
Autumn spluttered as she was suddenly covered in kisses. "I said it first, therefore I win!"
Alex giggled gently, continuing his attack of kisses. “I said it second, and second is the winner.”
"What? Since when?" Autumn questioned, squeezing her eyes shut as she grinned at the kisses.
“Since…” Alex paused, but came up blank with an answer. “Since ever.” He continued the dusting of her face.
