Amory smiled at Sorrel as Whiskey walked over to her food as if the floor was damp under her feet and began eating. Amory chuckled and kissed Sorrel's cheek as he slipped an arm around Sorrel's waist, "Alright. Time to go."
Amory smiled at Sorrel as Whiskey walked over to her food as if the floor was damp under her feet and began eating. Amory chuckled and kissed Sorrel's cheek as he slipped an arm around Sorrel's waist, "Alright. Time to go."
"I see, I see. Bye, Whiskey. Until we see each other again." Sorrel said, waving curtly at the kitten. He blushed a little bit, slowly learning how to control his redness. He wrapped his own arm around Amory, and thought the whole effect was cute. "This is so exciting, you know? It almost feels like a vacation, to me." He said, with a little perkiness in his tone.
Amory smiled and kissed the top of Sorrel's head as they headed out to the car. "Me too. Probably because I work through most of my weekends."
"Hours are tough," Sorrel said, with a hesitant laugh. All he had to do was sit on his arse and order people around, he had it easy. Maybe Amory deserved less hours and bigger pay, no. That's favoritism again. Sorrel leaned more on Amory, careful to balance his head on his shoulder.
"It's kinda my fault because I've been taking on other people's workloads so they can go do their own commitments. I'm too nice and a bit of a pushover, honestly." Amory opened the door for Sorrel and when Sorrel got in, he headed around and got in the driver's seat, starting up the car.
Sorrel shrugged. "You know I can fire people, right? It really isn't that hard for me to do so," He said. "You should have complained earlier." He added, pouting a little bit. "I could find better employees, get some better workers, it would be so much easier for you, I'm sure,"
Amory shook his head. "No, don't do that. I just have a habit of being too nice. Anyway, I never had anything to do with my weekends and thanks to my insomnia, I don't sleep well or often which means I have a lot of time to be bored. So I end up taking other people's requests to help them out rather than sitting around doing nothing and being lonely." Amory backed out of the driveway and began cruising down the street at a rather lazy pace. "And some people there really need the job, but also are trying to juggle it with kids and a spouse and their other commitments. I may not be able to fully understand, as I have none of that, but I can at least sympathize and help out."
Sorrel tilted his head a little bit. "Well, if it says anything, I wish I felt the same way." Sorrel said, with a tired smile. "Thanks to my narco, all I do is sleep. I get in the office, and I sleep. I don't do anything work-related, it seems. Maybe I actually need your help?" He continued, bumbling all about his supposed laziness. "I wonder if I actually worked, if maybe the environment would be more exciting, fun."
( Morning!!! )
(Good morning! How is your morning going? <3)
Amory looked over at Sorrel. "You have narcolepsy? Huh. I would never had guessed. You always seem to work hard enough… Though you always did seem to be tired. I didn't realize it was a sleep disorder." He set a hand on Sorrel's leg. "Don't worry about it. You work hard enough as it is, especially with something like that. Though, if you ever have problems at work arising from this, please tell me so I can help."
(I love that they have opposing disorders, it's adorable.)
( Ikr! I'm kinda okay, despite the fact I've eaten a lot of chocolate- wby? )
Sorrel laughed softly. "I will, I promise, but I've got to get the others in check." He said. He gently grabbed Amory's hand, and entwined their fingers together happily. "I know you have to have some sort of imperfection, a real one, though. I'm tired and sleepy all of the time. I want to know what the worst you have is, so I can take care of you, too." Sorrel whined, as if he were younger.
(Oof, don't get sick! lol. And I'm… decent. My mom made me cry this morning, which I really hate doing, so there's that, and I didn't get my BF anything for Valentines and he didn't either though, so I could just laugh it off. shrugs)
( It's okay! Parents can suck sometimes, and at least you have him. Remind him that you love him, it's sweeter than even sugar itself. )
Amory grimaced at the request, a look of pain flashing in his eyes before fading. He quickly put on a small smile. "Um… I'm actually, slightly lactose intolerant? Does that work?" Amory grinned at Sorrel, looking a bit mischievous.

(I do it every day. lol)
( awwww… <3 That's adorable..! )
Sorrel looked kind of worried for a second. He really eyed Amory, he'd caught the feeling change. "I guess it works, Amore, but I feel there's something more." He said, the last part fading with a drawl. He could guarantee something was off, but what?
(lol blushes Everyone tends to say that about us… I never know what to say to it.)
(Hey. Sorry, my trade school is on winter break this week so my mom's making me stay home. I'll be back on Monday.)
Amory sighed, his smile melting away. "I have severe PTSD…. From something that happened to me a few years ago…" He took a turn down a side road. "It can really cause me problems sometimes. But I'm learning to keep it under control."
( I wasn't here for a while so it's alright! I hope you have a good break! )
(I'll try, thanks for understanding. But I can stick around for about 15 more minutes)
Sorrel's look of worry magnified, a lot. "Amory, I won't let it hurt you, ever again. We can get through your past, and annihilate whatever rough feelings it comes up with again." He said, intently. He fought the urge to ask Amory what the trauma was, he fought it hard. IT could be perceived that he was really wondering what it was.
( Mk! I'll make the most out of them! )
