"YOu're ready but you don't want to move." He laughed and stroked her hair, sitting in silence for a few mements
"I could say the same about you," she murmured.
"Except you're the one preventing me from getting up." He countered with a smile
She blushed and gently got up so he could too.
He glanced down at her and nodded in a silent thank you. He got up and stretched "I've got breakfast while you set up what you need?"
"Need for what?" she asked tiredly.
"The costumes for tonight," he explained patiently, stroking her hair and heading to the kitchen
"Right," she murmured, smoothing her hair.
"you almost seem reluctant to start." He noted, while preparing breakfast
"I'm not," she justified a bit too quickly. There was one sharp memory that she couldn't deny from her dream: the headache and just before then. She'd been running. And she was Mayura.
Gabriel glanced at her from the kitchen "you're sure you're ok?" He asked, concerned. "We don't have to.go if you're feeling overwhelmed."
"No, I'm alright," she assured him.
He nodded, a litle suspicious but he soon went back to making breakfast, shrugging off the feeling
Nathalie sighed and got off of the couch. She walked to the study and began to gather materials.
He had put the leftover croissants in the oven to warm up when he went to check on Natalie in the study. "Do you think he truly is ok with us?" He asked softly
She looked up when he entered, caught off guard by his sudden question. "What?"
"Do you think Adrien is ok with us being together?" he asked a little louder
She walked over to him. "Haven't you already asked him what he thought?"
"I did. He seemed alright with it." He replied "He's lost so much, I just don't want him to about a new change."
She looked away from him. "You should ask him again then," she suggested.
He shook his head " I don't want to make it seem like I'm unsure …not that I am"
"I'm sure Adrien won't mind," she said, meeting his gaze again.
He held her gaze and nodded "I should've been there for him. Especially during that time. Thank you for everything you've done for him. and for me."
She blushed. "It was nothing… Just my job."
He walked over to her and brushed a light hand along her cheek. He kissed her brow "You and I both know it was more than that. I see the love you have for Adrien."
