(Did I tell you my costume idea?)
(…oh yeah…whoops let me fix that.)
(Nah, you're good!)
"Yes," she replied softly.
he nodded and headed to his office. "got the notebook?" he asked, rummaging through his things for everything they needed to start the designing process
"Yes," she replied, retrieving it from where she'd left it.
"Good." he stopped for a minute and glanced up at her. "I have an idea…."
She looked at him and met his gaze. "What is it?"
"what if we switch, you make my costume, I make yours? It'll be done faster and it'll be a little surprise." He suggested
She looked thoughtful. "Alright."
He smiled headed out of the study "you take the studio, I've got the living room."
"I'll go in the living room," she protested. "This is your study, you can have it."
He shook his head, already heading to the door "nope, everything you need is here."
Nathalie pressed her lips together. Fine. He won this round. She reluctantly began working.
He chuckled softly and pulled off his jacket, getting ready to get to work. "Now…where to start."
Nathalie worked diligently with her fabric as she formed a suit out of the deep purple fabric.
Gabriel pulled out a maniquin and started pinning different shades of blue and teal fabric, letting some drape and pulling some places tight. He added a shimmery, translucent fabric over a few places to catch some light
Nathalie searched for the silver fabric she'd had laying beside her a minute ago.
Gabriel continued to work diligently, even making some lace gloves that reached the wrist the same color as the dress
There it was! Nathalie found it and incorporated it into her design perfectly.
He sighed and took a step back from his work "THere's something missing…." he glanced around the room trying to find something that would complete the look
Nathalie admired the suit. It looked wonderful. Just something more…
He smiled and walked over to a table centerpiece in the dining room. He pulled it to him and pulled out the feathers that were mixed in with the flowers. "perfect." he set them in place, having the feathers sweeping down the drapes of the dress
Ah! She paced over to the shelves and searched for her idea.
He backed away and looked at the design once more, tapping his foot impatiently "still something else…. ah mask,. maskmaskmaksmaskmask"
