The girl working the counter smiled. "Coming right up." She replied, inputting the order, and naming the price.
Jared pulled out his wallet and paid.

Tangerine let out a small sigh and smiled softly. "Thank you, Jared. I if you want you can go sit down and wait or you can stand here, I don't care which one you do."
(I probably won't be on for the rest of the day. And for the rest of the week, I'll only be active around the time I post this. Sorry)
Jared nodded. "I'll wait here." He said with a small smile.
(Alright that's fine! Btw, I'll be gone like… Wednesday thru Friday)
Tangerine turned back to face to counter, watching the employees make their smoothies as she waited for them. After a few minutes, the smoothies were ready. The person at the counter handed Tangerine their drinks. "Here you go, hope you enjoy!" Tangerine just smiled a little and nodded. Turning around, she handed the purple smoothie to Jared, keeping the coral colored one.
Jared took the smoothie. "Thank you." He said to the employee. He took a sip, thoughtful. "Hey, its actually pretty good." He said to Tangerine. "Thanks."
"Of course it's good! My brother owns this place and he always loved making drinks. The drinks were always really good too." Tangerine took a sip. "Yummm." She smiled and looked at Jared. "So let's go to the library, yeah?"
Jared smiled. "Oh, that's neat." He replied. "And yeah, why not."
"Okay." Tangerine smiled and started heading out to the library, holding the door open for Jared as always.
(Okay, I kinda feel bad bc Tangerine and Jared have been hanging out a lot more than Crystal and Jared or all three of them)
(i know…could Crystal maybe be at the library and they all hang out?)
Jared followed her out. "Lead the way." He said with a tiny smile.
(I was thinking the same thing. What do you think @_Write_Where_I_Wanna_Be ?)
She still had a smile on her face as she lead the way to the library.
Jared walked beside her quietly, eyes flickering around the road.
(Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! Yeah she could be there!)
Crystal had just sat down in the library after getting her iced coffee from the coffee shop, now writing on her laptop. Mostly murder mysteries, horror, and maybe some slice of life, and most of all….. Romance. That, she was a sucker for.
(It's totally okay!)
After a few minutes of silent walking, they made it to the library. As always, Tangerine held the door open for Jared.
(its fine!)
Jared looked at her. "I can get the door, you know." He said. "You don't have to get it for me."
Tangerine smiled very shyly. "I… I know…" She cringed at herself for always doing that. Once they got inside, she lead him to the area with a whole bunch of tables.
Jared followed her. He spotted Crystal, and waved. "Hey, Crystal!" He exclaimed, then was shushed very sternly by a librarian.
Almost jumping out of her seat, dropping her computer while she was at it, she looked up at Jared and the other girl, probably his girlfriend. She didn't remember her from earlier.
"Oh! Hey…."
she says picking up her computer and checking if it was alright. What were they even doing in a library after school!? She was one to talk.
(Imma get some sleep, so i won't probably reply until tomorrow (early tomorrow lol) so see ya)
(ok! See ya!)
Jared walked over. "I didn't know you would be here." He said with a small smile. "How are you?"
Tangerine saw how happy Jared seemed to be when he saw Crystal. At that moment, she felt like curling into a ball and hiding under her bed. Did he only come with me because 'he had nothing to do' and why not go to the library with this poor little girl? …Did he know Crystal was going to be here and he just didn't know how to get here? Why does this always happen… She went to a table far-ish away from the two of them and rested her head in her hands as she looked down at the table.
"I'm alright"
She says rather dryly, looking over at the girl apparently sulking at a lonely table.
"What'sup with your girlfriend over there?"
She says little mildly concerned, shutting her laptop and peering over it, then leaning back in her chair, looking up at Jared. She was kind of bummed that he had a girlfriend, but she wasn't going to go pout in a corner and grow mushrooms, let alone show it.
