Aaron aroused a bit when he heard his name and opened one eye, looking around for the source of the noise. When he saw Lucas, he immediately sat up, pulling down his shirt and trying to style his hair without a mirror. "Yes?" He had failed at making his hair look like what it usually did, usually it was only a bit fluffy. But now, it was messy in a cute way and it looked very soft to the touch.
Lucas blushed a bit at the sight of Aaron and looked off to the side a bit. "I-I… um… did you sleep out here?" He asked quietly, glancing around the room.
Aaron kept trying to pull down his shirt, wondering how he hadn't noticed it was lifted when he was asleep. "Umm…yea…" He mumbled, blushing a bit as he nervously ran a hand through his hair.
"Why?" Lucas finally managed to look at Aaron. His own hair was quite fluffy by now too, but he'd mostly smoothed it down.
"I–um–I didn't want to bother you…" Aaron mumbled shyly, lightly touching the back of neck.
"You… y-you wouldn't bother me, Aaron. It's your room, after all. I refuse to kick you out of it."
"Okay then, I won't sleep in the living room anymore…" Aaron muttered, moving a piece of hair out of his face.
Lucas nodded. "Anyways, do we have any plans for today? Songwriting, song practice, food, whatever…?" He thought for a moment. "Come to think of it, I don't think you've actually heard me sing before."
"Umm.." Aaron went over his schedule in his mind, wondering if he had anything to do today as his eyebrows furrowed together. "Shouldn't we start heading to the concert location? It's going to take a day or two and we need to be there a few days early to make sure everything is working correctly and is synched up."
"Sure, sounds good to me." Lucas stretched a bit. "Do we need to pack anything or have we loaded the van already? I can't remember."
"I've packed my stuff, have you?" Aaron asked, groaning softly as he stretched his arms.
"Lemme think…" Lucas was quiet for a few seconds. "Yeah, I did. Should we leave now or later?"
"Your choice, but I think it'd be better if we went now, since we can beat the crowd and we'd have more time to practice." Aaron answered, getting up and walking into the kitchen. "Breakfast?"
"Sure… What do you have?" Lucas sat down on a stool and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Don't know, have to check." Aaron opened the fridge, his eyes flickering around and looking at the contents. "I have a lot of stuff, surprisingly, so I can make anything you want me to if we have enough time."
"I don't need anything special… I don't generally even get to eat breakfast. Just a bagel or something is perfectly fine." Lucas yawned again.
"Lucas, do you do this to yourself everyday?" Aaron asked, looking at Lucas with a worried expression combined with a small pout, making him look very adorable (in my opinion).
Lucas looked up at Aaron, confused. "…Y-Yes? Is… is that bad?" He asked quietly.
(Sorry I take so long to respond, life has been kind of hectic)
"Yes, yes it is." Aaron sighed a bit. "You should at least try to have something for breakfast, or else you might faint from exhaustion or something."
"Oh… would you be worried if I said I did that already?" Lucas asked weakly, looking up at Aaron.
"Absolutely." Aaron sighed softly, realizing he was probably intimidating Lucas. "Just don't do it again, okay?"
"I'll try… I-I guess whatever you feel like making for breakfast is fine. I'm not really very picky…" Lucas fidgeted with his hands a bit.
"Okay then," Aaron turned back around, quickly making breakfast and putting it on two plates. He then handed one plate to Lucas, looking around the kitchen to make sure he had cleaned everything up. "Here."
Lucas murmured his thanks and started to eat quietly. Honestly, this was more food than he'd had at one time for quite some time.
