"You can sleep in my room if you want to, the guest room is usually very cold." Aaron fiddled with his fingers for no reason in particular.
"You can sleep in my room if you want to, the guest room is usually very cold." Aaron fiddled with his fingers for no reason in particular.
"No, that's alright… You can sleep in your room. I'll take the guest room." Lucas stood up. "Uh… where is it exactly?"
Aaron also stood up. "You're sleeping in my room, the guest room is too cold."
"B-But if I'm in your room, then you have to be in the guest room and I don't want you to have to do that for me…" ( I s e e a s o l u t i o n )
(Lol)
"We can sleep in the same room," Aaron answered. "It's not like we're forbidden from sleeping in the same room."
"I… alright…" Lucas followed Aaron to his room, a faint blush rising to his pale cheeks.
Aaron held the door open to his room, hoping his room didn't look too bad or anything. His room was pretty simple, a few pictures of his parents, and his friends, along with one or two of himself. There was a piano one side of the room covered in papers of messy handwriting and small doodles, his closet next to the piano which was right next to the bathroom.
Lucas looked around the room almost in awe. Despite the simplicity of the room, it was far nicer and cleaner than his had ever been. The wallpaper was intact, there was no blood on the floor… to him, this place was very nice.
Aaron looked a bit shy now, quietly closing the door after he walked in. "So, do you like it?"
"It's… it's fantastic! I've never seen a nice room like this one…" Lucas wandered around, looking at everything curiously.
Aaron's face flushed a bit at the compliment, looking around his room as if he were trying to find what was so nice about it. "Thank you…?"
"Sorry, this is probably a weird reaction or something… my room, even when my dad wasn't… you know… was one that I shared with my twin brother. Now, it's a dreary place with chipped plaster and blood on the floor, so this place is wonderful by comparison." Lucas explained, still wandering.
"Oh, it's fine…" Aaron mumbled, becoming awkward again as he followed Lucas as he wandered around.
Once Lucas had thoroughly wandered, he sat down on the bed. "So… um… what now?"
Aaron shrugged, sitting down on the bed across from Lucas. "I don't know."
"I… guess we should sleep? It's pretty late." Lucas glanced at the clock.
(Beep)
Aaron nodded. "Yea, it's pretty late." The only clock he had was a digital one on a table next to his bed, it read 10:50 PM.
Lucas took off his shoes and lay them neatly beside the bed. He glanced over at Aaron, not wanting to do anything without permission.
"You can go to bed, I have to go do something," Aaron said, not waiting for an answer before heading out of the room and closing the door.
"Alright…" Lucas hesitated before getting into one side of the bed and closing his eyes.
Aaron sighed in relief when he was able to shut the door quietly, going over to the guestroom to get the blanket in there. After he was gotten the blanket, he flopped onto his couch in the living room and fell asleep with half of the blanket on the floor.
Lucas eventually managed to fall asleep and woke up in the morning, alone and confused. Did he wake up already? He wondered, glancing around.
Aaron was still fast asleep, using his right arm to block out any light. By now, the blanket was on the floor and so was half of Aaron's limbs. Considering the position he was in, his shirt was lifted and the small mole under his bottom lip was visible, along with several others all over his body.
"Aaron…?" Lucas asked quietly as he left the bedroom, searching for the other. He spotted him on the couch and made his way over. "Aaron?"
