(Bump part two, electric boogaloo)
(Sorry about that! My aunt's family came over and they wouldn't get my get on my laptop, I'll get a response up soon sorryyy)
(No problem lol)
"That isn't helpful," Aaron replied, standing up to go get painkillers. "I'm going to go get painkillers for you."
"Alright…" Lucas held the bloodied pieces of glass he had in trembling hands, looking down at them quietly. His head was throbbing and he wasn't sure how much longer he could stay conscious.
Aaron headed to the store with a medical mask covering his face and his hood up, knowing he had run out of painkillers a few days ago. He almost immediately went to the pharmacy in the store, looking around. Where are they???
Since Aaron wasn't back yet, Lucas stood up unsteadily and went over to the sink. He pulled out the rest of the glass and did his best to rinse the wound.
Aaron quickly got the painkillers, almost sprinting to the counter after he had gotten them. He probably looked rather intimidating and impatient, considering the cashier had looked pretty nervous when he arrived.
Lucas had cut his hands with the glass on accident and rinsed them too. Blood was starting to stain his blonde hair and he tried to rinse it out again.
(Bump)
(Sorryy)
Aaron quickly grabbed the stuff and almost sprinted to his apartment, opening the door and looking at Lucas. "I'm here."
"It's fine… I think I got it all out anyways." Lucas said softly, looking at the blood on his hands. "Those are painkillers, right?"
Aaron nodded, looking worried as he handed the painkillers to Lucas. "Here you go, do you need anything else?"
"A nap." Lucas laughed, rinsing the blood off his hands and taking a couple pills. And a will to live, but that's a story for another time. "Do you know when the next concert is?"
Aaron couldn't help chuckle softly, a small smile on his face. "I think our next concert is in a week, we also have to record the acoustic version of our new song…"
"Alright." Lucas was quiet for a few seconds. "Do you think I should ever sing in one of our songs?"
Aaron nodded. "Of course, you have a nice singing voice and it'd be a nice surprise for the fans….that is, if they recognize your voice and think it's you."
"Yeah… in person they'd know it's me, but in a recording, they'd think it's some guest singer." Lucas sighed softly. "I-I dunno… You know singing on stage makes me anxious. I just get so afraid of messing up in front of all of those people…"
"Then you could just look at something or someone that might help you calm down?" Aaron suggested, shrugging. "Or, you could be behind a curtain and then come out?"
"Maybe… what would I even sing? Obviously we don't usually write parts for me into songs." Lucas sat down at the table, tapping his foot anxiously.
"Umm…..do you want to sing my parts in some songs or something?" Aaron asked, not sure what to say.
Lucas shook his head. "No… I may not even end up doing it, but if I do, I'm sure we can figure something out."
"You should get some rest," Aaron mumbled, moving some hair out of his face.
"Yeah, probably…" Lucas crossed his arms on the table and hid his face in them.
