Lucas shook his head, not wanting to speak if he could help it. "L-Let's just go…" He was honestly pretty close to tears, but he didn't want his dad to know that. He went back out to the car with Aaron, leaving his dad alone in the house.
Lucas shook his head, not wanting to speak if he could help it. "L-Let's just go…" He was honestly pretty close to tears, but he didn't want his dad to know that. He went back out to the car with Aaron, leaving his dad alone in the house.
Aaron nodded, pushing the man down and quickly closing the door before heading to his house, making sure Lucas was following him. "Are you okay?"
Lucas brushed a tear from his face, wrapping his arms tightly around himself to try and stop shaking. People were looking at them funny for the blood on his head. "Y-Yeah… m'fine…"
Aaron looked worriedly at Lucas. "You're literally crying, Lucas," He mumbled, hugging Lucas from the back. "Why didn't you tell us about him before…?"
"I… I-I didn't want to worry you or hurt him… as much of a dick as he is, he's my dad, and I still care about him…"
"But he hurt you and abuses you, that's not how you treat your son." Aaron replied, ignoring all the people staring at them.
"I know…" Lucas brushed away more tears. "And I know he deserves all the shit that's coming to him, but I can't bring myself to hate him for some reason… he was just grieving too, and neither of us handled it in a healthy way."
Aaron sighed. "I know, I know." He gently brushed away a few tears. "Let's go to my apartment before you pass out from blood loss."
Lucas nodded and followed Aaron to the apartment. Honestly, he felt very lightheaded and sat down as soon as they got there, trying to blink the stars out of his vision.
(sigh
You might as well make this a o/o
It's not at all what I wanted
And I've been left behind
Again)
(Nooo, waittt, I'm so sorry
I had been planning on them going back to the studio…)
(We can call you to the apartment if you want)
(no it doesn't matter
I hate doing anything other than o/o because I get left behind
People forget me/my character and then I can't slip back in)
"Stay here," Aaron said before heading to the bathroom, where his first-aid kit was. He came back out after he got it and kneeled down in front of Lucas, opening the kit and taking out his phone and calling Damian, considering he had no clue how to do this type of stuff. "Just wait for a bit."
"Okay…" Lucas's eyes went in and out of focus, and it was starting to feel stuffy in here. He took off his jacket, which revealed the bandages on his arms underneath. He figured at this point, Aaron would've found out soon anyways.
(I think they might've unfollowed the discussion)
(Oh, okay then)
Aaron cursed softly under his breath when Damian didn't pick up and glanced at Lucas when he took off his jacket. "Lucas Mulbright, I swear to god…" He mumbled under his breath again. "What made you think you shouldn't have told us about this?"
"I-I'm sorry…" Lucas whispered. "I'm gross…" He folded his arms tightly over his chest and stared at the floor, feeling self conscious about them.
"You're not gross, trust me." Aaron closed his phone. "Two things, where else did he hit you? and second, what would you usually do about your head? I don't know what to do, sorry."
"He hits me wherever he feels like." Lucas tugged at his bandages a bit. "I'd usually either leave it or pick out the glass and rinse with water. I think there's probably a better way, though…"
(Bump)
Aaron nodded. "We can do that for now, if it gets worse, we're going to the hospital," He replied. God, I hate his father so much.
"Alright… I can't afford a hospital bill, though, so let's hope it doesn't come to that." Lucas started carefully pulling pieces of glass out of his scalp, wincing.
"Well, I can, which means I'm taking you to the hospital if it gets worse." Aaron looked a bit worried, still not sure what to do.
"Okay. By the way, don't worry if I pass out. I'll wake up." Lucas pulled out another piece of glass, gritting his teeth. He knew this would normally be done with anesthetics but he obviously had none.
