Raven went quiet and gave Izzy a clueless look. "I'll be honest, I usually don't use cutlery unless it's a spoon or a knife, and these are the only pair of shoes I have." She explained, showing off her worn black boots.

"Maybe I'll buy you a new pair. Or two," Izzy bit her bottom lip as she thought for a moment, "As a thank you, for helping me. And because you deserve a pair of better shoes. And a house and everything else."

Raven shook her head. "As much as that sounds like paradise, princess, I can't allow you to do that. I'm a "criminal", the guards are after me. I don't want you to get fired or worse because the guards found out you were conspiring with a street rat such as myself." Raven explained with a sad smile. "But don't let that make you think that I won't see you again. Even if I have to break into the palace to do so, this won't be the last time we meet."

"I wouldn't get fired," The princess protested, knowing fine well that there was no possibility for that, "I want to help you. It doesn't seem right that you don't get the same opportunities as I do."

"Life isn't fair to everyone. I just happened to get the lowerside of the spectrum." Raven said with a shrug. "Don't worry about me, sweet."

"Too late, I'm going to worry about you for forever now." She replied, "And you can't say anything to change that."

Raven let out a slow sigh. "Alright, but don't let me distract you too much. I know I'm captivating." She said with a wink.
"Here we are! The palace, milady." Raven took a bow. "The gaurds will let you in, won't they?"

Oh. Izzy hadn't thought about this. She wasn't supposed to be out and if the guards saw and her father found out… "I- yeah but um, it'll be best if I go through the servants quarters.."

Raven nodded. "Can you get there by yourself or would you like me to accompany you there?" She asked as she let go of Izzy's hand.

"I'll be all right," She offered a smile, standing on her toes to press a kiss to Raven's cheek, "Thank you for today, I hope to see you again soon."

Raven froze up a bit when Izzy kissed her. "Oh! Thanks! Umm, I hope to meet up again if your in the…uhh…area." She managed to stammer out.

The princess let out a soft giggle, "Definitely, see you soon Raven." She waved daintily, flipping the hood up over her head as she followed the path down the side of the castle walls, disappearing from view a moment later.

Raven stood there watching Izzy go. She brought a hand up to touch where Izzy kissed her. "You're too kind, princess." She chuckled.
Spell popped out of her cloak and booped Raven on the nose. "Yeah, we should probably head home." Raven said with a smile as she headed home.

Izzy bit her lip, mind wandering to Raven as she slipped back into the castle, hoping that her father's adviser or even her father himself didn't see her and question what she was doing. That would be a terrible conversation.

Raven sat utop a building close to the castle. She had been hanging around the palace a lot more in hopes to see Izzy again. Spell was stretched out across the rooftop, sunning herself. Raven stared at the door that she saw Izzy disappear into.

The princess had been bogged down with royal duties the past few days. And after her disappearance the other day, she was under constant surveillance. But there weren't any guards now, a perfect time for her to slip back out in hopes of finding Raven. She headed to the usual door, slowly opening and closing it behind her.

Raven spotted Izzy heading out the door. "She's here!" She whispered as her face lit up in a smile. She grabbed Spell before hopping down, balcony to balcony to reach the ground.
Once she reached the ground she headed over to Izzy. "Guess who?" She asked in a playful tone, placing her hands over her eyes.

Izzy gasped then giggled, cheeks heating, "Hmm, I dunno. Is it.. Raven?" She raised a brow, reaching up to take the others hands in her own and remove them from her eyes.

Raven laughed. "You got it, princess." She chuckled, her hands sliding down to let her arms hang over Izzy's shoulders. "I was starting to think you forgot about me." She teased.
