Raven smiled. "Nope!" She said, reaching out and grabbing Izzy's hand. "Are you ready?"
Raven smiled. "Nope!" She said, reaching out and grabbing Izzy's hand. "Are you ready?"
Izzy bit her lip, "Nope but better now then later and get caught." She squeezed Raven's hand.
Raven smiled. "Jump!" She yelled as she jumped off the roof. They landed on a few bags of flour, which helped break their fall a bit.
Izzy landed with an oof, a bag of flour popping as they landed on it. It sent flour flying and lightly coating the two of in the food.
Raven laughed as she pulled Izzy off before the merchant could come yell at them. "Guess I've been landing on that bag a bit too much." She said with a smile.
Izzy laughed softly, attempting the wipe off the flour on her cheek, "Guess you have been. Regular route?"
Raven nodded as they sprinted down the street. "Yep! People around here are a bit more friendly to people like me." She explained.
It seemed to be a more run down part of town. The merchants looked a bit more shady, the streets weren't as clean, and the people wore clothes that weren't as nice as others in the market place. Each one of the people would greet Raven with a smile and occasionally a wave, though.
Izzy stuck close to Raven's side, making sure to keep her cloak tightly wrapped around her so people wouldn't tell she was not from around here, even though it was still obvious, "Well that's… good then?"
Raven wrapped a hand around Izzy's waist, pulling her closer to her. "You haven't been to this part of town, have you?" She asked, even though she was pretty sure she knew the answer.
Izzy, of course, shook her head, "No I haven't… I don't really leave the castle." She admitted softly.
Raven smiled softly. "Don't worry. If you stick by me, you'll be fine." She said, holding her close. Several people did look at them, most of them focused on Izyy though, because of her expensive looking clothes.
"I wasn't planning on sticking with anyone else anytime soon." The princess tried not to look at the people who were looking at her, feeling very self conscious all of a sudden.
Raven laughed. "Give us a few more moments and we'll be out of here." She said as she sped up her walk a bit.
Izzy nodded a little, wrapping her free arm around her self and sticking close to Raven's side and making sure to keep pace.
Raven eventually lead her into an alleyway with a fence. She slipped into a space where a single plank was missing. "Come on." She said from the other side.
Izzy frowned a little but followed, slipping through the gap. Her cloak got caught on a splinter as she did so, making the end rip slightly as she tugged it away.
Raven saw Izzy's cloak get caught. "Aww! You got your cloak caught." She said, grabbing her cloak to look at the rip. "I think I can fix it when we get to me place."
Izzy shrugged a shoulder, “It’s okay, really. I can patch it back up myself when I get home later. No big deal.”
"No no no! Hold on!" She said as she began looking for something in the Alley way. It was a dead end with stuff strewn about. Food, clothes, a cot and various other things in boxes were strewn about. It looked like someone lived here.
Raven grabbed a rope before heaving it up, revealing various other things under a curtain. "It should be in here." She said, as she started looking through a box.
Izzy glanced around curiously, tilting her head as Raven pulled up the curtain, “Raven it’s fine, seriously,” She placed a hand on her shoulder with a smile, “Don’t worry too much, please.”
"Nah! It's fine!" She said as she pulled out needle and thread.
"I don't want you to get in trouble for it, just in case. Would you get in trouble? Either way I should still fix it." Raven rambled as she tried to thread the needle through the needle. It was habit for Raven to try to fix rips and tears in clothing because is she didn't it would get bigger and then she would have to get rid of it and clothing is not a good thing to waist.
"Raven," Izzy said slowly, gently taking the taller girls hands in her own, being careful of the need, "It's okay. I won't get in trouble and it's a small rip, there's no need to rush to fix it. I promise, there's no need to stress."
"I know but I caused you to rip it. I ought to fix it. It's common courtesy." Raven said. "Unless you'd get in trouble for it. Then I won't."
“You didn’t cause me to rip it. It was me not being careful enough,” Izzy raised a brow, smiling softly up at her, “Please, you don’t have to. It’s okay.”
Raven eventually got the hint and set down the needle and spool of thread. "Alright." She said slowly. "Are you sure?"
