Izzy rolled her eyes with a smile, hopping across the gap and surprisingly not stumbling, "I do. You seem cool. And nice, why wouldn't I want to spend time with you?"
Izzy rolled her eyes with a smile, hopping across the gap and surprisingly not stumbling, "I do. You seem cool. And nice, why wouldn't I want to spend time with you?"
"I'm not exactly on the right side of the law," She said with a soft smile. "And I'm kind of a nuisance."
"I don't think you're a nuisance," She shrugged a shoulder, "You helped me out of a difficult situation, I'm not going to report you to the guards to the king anytime soon."
Raven chuckled. "Thank you. Though at this point, I don't think the guards could catch me if they tried." She joked. "And believe me, they've tried."
Izzy giggled softly, "I'm sure they have. You seem like you know this city well and know all the good hiding spots."
"You have to when you live on the streets." She said with a shrug.
Spell poked her head out of Raven's cloak, tasting the air before realizing that Izzy was there, and trying to taste her.
Izzy blinked and moved back a step. Snakes weren't exactly her favourite, "You.. have a snake? A-As a pet?"
"Hmm? Oh! Yeah!" Raven said, sticking out her hand, letting Spell wrap herself around her hand. "Not a fan of snakes?"
Izzy shook her head, "Uh no, not really. Always been more of a bird person or cat person then snakes." She chuckled nervously.
"What's wrong with snakes?" Raven asked, raising an eyebrow. "Bad experience with them?"
"You could say that," She mumbled, crossing her arms over her chest, "Never had many good interactions with them."
"I get it. Snakes aren't for everyone." Raven said with a nod, letting Spell slip off her fingers and around her neck. "You have any pets?"
Izzy shrugged a shoulder, "I mean kind of. Sparrow, my bird, though I wouldn't say he's a pet, more a friend that comes and goes and knows he has a home with me if he wishes."
Raven nodded. "Sounds good. I can't imagine you have too much time on your hands, having to serve the princess." She said, as she stopped at the edge of a building.
Izzy sighed softly, walking up next to Raven, "I have more time then you might imagine I have. She'sā¦ more relaxed then people think."
"Maybe I could meet her sometime." Raven joked with a nudge. "She sounds pretty nice."
Izzy smiled, "Maybe. I have a pretty strong feeling she would like you." She nudged her back.
"Oh please!" Raven chuckled. "I'm a criminal, Izzy. No one in their right mind would let me near the princess."
Izzy's smile grew and she giggled softly, "You never know. Fate works in weird ways and you might meet her by chance."
"I've never gotten within a hundred feet of the castle." Raven said with a mischievous smile. "Though I might have to make an exception for you now."
Izzy blushed, rolling her eyes playfully, "Maybe you will. But try not to get caught by the guards, that would not be ideal."
"Of course not! They I wouldn't be able to see you!" Raven laughed. "Question, how good are you with heights?"
The princess shrugged, twirling a strand of hair round her finger in thought, "I can stomach them, not a fan but I can stomach it. Why do you ask?"
Rave pointed downwards. It was a good 15 feet drop to the ground below and their wasn't a building close enough to jump to. "The only way left in down, your highness." She said with a smirk.
Izzy peered over the edge and bit her lip, "If it's the only way left to go there isn't exactly another choice, is there?"
