Logan wiped away his stray tears and shuffle down his way back to the living room. He sat on the edge of the couch and slowly reached out, brushing aside Jackson’s hair. From the awkward position, Logan could only make contact with Jackson’s back And arm. He didn’t really want to talk, only just to be with Jackson in any way allowed for as long as possible
Jackson slowly pulled his head up from Jay's chest, red and teary eyes peering up at Logan. He stared at him for a second, lip quivering before he once again jumped into Logan's arms, whispering how sorry he was and begging him not to leave.
Logan sighed in relief and wrapped Jackson in his arms, pulling him as close as he could and burying his face in his neck.
“Shh, my love, please don’t be sorry for anything. It’s nothing you or anyone can control. I should be apologizing to you, I may have over reacted a bit.” He gently pressed a kiss to his brow. “I’d never leave you my love, not if I can help it.”
His words quieted although his whimpering didn't, trying to calm himself down with Logan's words. Jay took his leave, joining Raz in the kitchen. "Well, that's one problem solved."
Raz laughed softly, “just one?” He passed him a mug of hot chocolate and leaned against Jay’s shoulder “think we should have stayed at your parents house for a few more weeks now?” He teased, watching the two for a moment.
"Noooo, never. I don't think I could stand another interrogation from Cherry. I love the woman but she drives me crazy." Jay shook his head before taking a sip from his cup.
Raz chuckled, amused by his fiancé’s sudden need to be apart from his family for a bit. “You port demon.” Raz teased, kissing his cheek and moving around him to attend to The breakfast
"Yes yes, poor me indeed." Jay rolled his eyes, moving so that Raz could get where he needed to in the kitchen.
Raz hugged Jay with a shake of his head and kissed him sweetly. “Well hey, at least we’re at home now.” He said, letting Jay go to serve the breakfast.
Logan took a deep breath and tilted his head back to gaze at Jackson. He pressed a kiss to his brow “I think I know what I want our deal to be.” He whispered softly
Jay sat down at the counter, watching Raz work with a content smile. I don't know what I'd do without you…
Jackson peered up at him, blinking the remaining tears out of his eyes as he tilted his head in concern. Was he serious about this? He couldn't be, right?
you'd be a very single demon. Raz replied, giving Jay his own devilish smile.
Logan straightened slightly so they were both more comfortable but he didn’t waver. “I’m ready to make a contract with you.”
Yes yes, and that would be just tragic. But you more than likely would be too so I'm not too worried. He rolled his eyes, continuing to watch him with a look of pure adoration.
Jackson's eyes widened, wiping his face clean before looking up in disbelief. "You can't be serious. I promised, I don't want to go against my best friend's wishes."
thankfully, that will never happen. Raz passed Jay a plate of breakfast And pressed a kiss to his lips before preparing plates for Jackson and Logan and then himself.
Logan gently cupped his beloveds cheek “Hun, We wouldn’t be going against anyone’s wishes. I already talked to Raz last night and we agreed that it was my choice if I wanted to make a deal with you. Not him, and not jays.”
Jay dug into his breakfast, humming contently as he chewed. Perfect as always, my prince.
Jackson chewed on his lip, contemplating for a minute before nodding. "Okay, that makes sense. But you said you knew your terms. So what are they?"
your welcome love. Raz leaned against Jay as they watched the two on the couch.
Logan nodded and took a deep breath, wanting to be a sweet clear as possible. “I know having a relationship with a bonded is…complicated for you guys, so I won’t ask that you stay with me now. All I ask is that when we all die, no matter what happens, we end up back here on earth together. Not hell, not heaven. Right here, together. And that yours and Jay’s job is done. This is the last life either of you will make contracts….” he stated, glancing around just in casebook he had done something wrong. “Oh…please.”
Jay covered his mouth to smother his snort. Wow, he added the please at the end just like you did. What have you been teaching him?
Jackson smiled a little and nodded. "Reasonable enough. I can definitely agree to that. Although it may be a tad bit more complex than you give it credit for. But that's for me to deal with, not you."
“Of all the things he just said, the Please part is what you choose to focus on?” Raz laughed softly, the reality of Logan’s contract slowly sinking in. He could be with Jay and Logan could be with jackson after this life. They could stay on earth together without having to worry about their partners leaving.
Logan nodded slowly “is that really how it’s done? Or is there a ritual or something I’m not aware of yet?”
"Well yeah! I've heard plenty of different demands in my days yet it's rare that we ever get a please like you two have so graciously added."
Jackson laughed a little. "There's a little bit of a process to it and then you have to choose where to get your mark but other than that, there's really nothing else. It's a pretty simple process."
“Better to be polite I guess?” Raz shook his head and smiled softly nuzzling against Jay’s shoulder.
Logan smiled softly and nodded “o-okay!” He released a shaky breath and relaxed into the couch. “I really need coffee…”
"Oh if only everyone was as polite as you two. It would make my life so much easier." Jay kissed the top of his head gently.
"Well, if you actually want to do this, there's a little back and forth verbal agreement. I swear it's painless but if you want coffee first then you can do that." Jackson laughed.
Raz leaned into Jay with a small hum, wrapping his arms around him.
Logan straightened and gently cupped Jackson’s cheek, pressing their heads together. “Alright, coffee, then we’ll talk about the contract.” He pressed a kiss to his brow. Lo glanced over at Raz with large round puppy dog eyes.
Raz rolled his eyes and shook his head with a smile before he pulled away from Jay And starting to prepare another’s coffee
Jackson quietly took a seat next to Jay as Raz got Logan his coffee. "So, you're actually doing this." Jay muttered to him. "That I am. Is it bad that I'm nervous?" "Not at all. I've been doing this for just as long as you have and I still get a little anxious doing them. It's natural. Kind of. About as natural as we can be."
Logan gently detangled himself from Jackson, promising he’d come back just as soon as he got his coffee, and went into the kitchen with Raz. He leaned against the counter as he watched Raz make his coffee, occasionally helping him so it didn’t Bree too long or so it wouldn’t burn. “It doesn’t feel real ya know?”
Raz glanced up “yeah, I know. Sometimes I forget that Jay’s a demon. Guess it’s because of just how normal it feels.”
"You really think you can follow through with this? Retirement ain't exactly easy." Jackson waved him off. "I'll figure it out." "You mean we'll figure it out. Because I got dragged into this too." "Well yeah but still."
Logan nodded slightly “you want this right? There’s still time to change it I think if there’s something you want.”
Raz shook his head with a smile, hugging his friend “no, You’ve given me enough for a lifetime Lo, as for Jay, I can’t speak for him. You’d have to ask him yourself. But there’s nothing I could possibly want more than to stay with the ones I love for eternity.”
