Some loud noise was pulling Clara from her sleep.
Kind of akin to the sound of grinding wheels, it wasn't til she opened her eyes to find a solitary crow rasping at her windowsill.
Some loud noise was pulling Clara from her sleep.
Kind of akin to the sound of grinding wheels, it wasn't til she opened her eyes to find a solitary crow rasping at her windowsill.
She sat up from her bed and sighed. "Bloody crows." She muttered getting out of the bed heading over to the window. "Shoo!"
The bird opened its wings, but didn't fly off, well aware that itself was safe as long as the window was shut. "Grkaaak!" The dark bird yelled back.
She raped on the window. "Shop you stupid bird!" Clara groaned not wanting to open it and let the bird inside.
Finally, but not from fear and more from indignance, the bird floated over to a nearby branch and stared condescendingly at Clara.
She shuddered and drew her curtains shut. "That's bloody creepy…" Clara muttered to herself. She climbed back in bed but sleep didn't come. "Of course…" She groaned getting out of bed and started to get dressed.
Morning seeped into her room in fuzzy grey rays. It was cloudy outside, and it turned the hot sun a dreary, rainy hue. All the leaves on the trees had overturned their silvery bellies to the sky, signaling the distant approach of storms.
Clara had gotten dressed and did her hair walking into the empty living space. She sighed knowing her parents were asleep or never came home. "Why should I care, I can leave without them interogating me." She said grabbing some shoes.
((Did you still wanna do this, or is this something you wanna drop?))
Oh, no! Honestly I think it became lost in the forums. Could we move this to private messaging?)
There were always places to go where you didn't necessarily need parents. As long as you avoided the right allies and pits of towns you'd be fine, places like the little shops of Grenwhich Way or the forest atop the hill with the strange man— as long as intuition was worthy.
(Sure! We can do that)
