Aki was out cold, so he wouldn't be to disturbed. He curled into the blankets and sighed quietly. He gave a little happy noise in his sleep.

Lucien sighed, and gave up, laying down beside Aki. He put his arms around Aki gently, closing his eyes.

Aki instantly leaned into his warmth and gave a happy sigh. His hair fell into his face and his soft little kitten ears popped out of the top of his head. He usually had them hidden under his fluffy white hair.

Lucien held him gently, beginning to fall asleep himself. His crown he had already set on the bedside table.

Lucien awoke in the morning, blinking sleepily. At first, he couldn't remember who this person curled in his arms was. Or why. Then, as he woke up, he remembered. "Mmph." He disentangled his arms from around Aki, sitting up and stretching.

Aki was still sleeping soundly, curled into a little ball. His ears were flat against his head, his tail wrapped around his body to keep him warm. "Mmm…" he slowly wakes up, looking up at Lucien. "Did you sleep in here…?" He asks quietly.

Lucien nodded. "You wouldn't let go of me." He replied with a soft chuckle. "So I slept in here." He raked his hands through his hair, finger combing it.

"Ah… Sorry…" He mutters softly as he slowly sits up, He floofs his hair and presses his ears down. He stands and fixes his robes and smiles shyly.

He chuckled softly. "It's fine." he replied, getting out of bed and stretching. "Don't worry about it."

Aki smile a little before going through his bag, humming softly to himself. He gave a happy little sigh. He finds his deck and gently traces the cards. They whispered, but none spoke out.

Lucien cleared his throat softy. "We both need to have breakfast." he said, looking over at Aki.

Aki nods and stretches a little bit of his slightly feminine build appearing. He stretches and relaxes. "So. Breakfast?" He asks curiously, a soft smile adorning his features.

Lucien nodded. "Yeah. Come on." He swallowed, doing his best not to stare at Aki. He headed to the door, taking a deep breath.

Aki smiles warmly and hums as he looks at the other. "Great. I must admit I'm pretty hungry." he laughs a little and runs a hand through his hair. He gently tucks his deck into his pocket. "After you."

Lucien smiled, and opened the door, going out. "Come on. We'll eat, and then figure out how they got to the king. Okay?" He said, looking at Aki.

Aki nods and follows after, his tail swishing back and forth in a happy manner. "Sounds wonderful. I just hope the cards give me some insight sooner or later." He hums as they walk, staying beside Lucien.

Lucien nodded. "Alright." He smiled at Aki again. "Feeling better after a good night's rest?" He asked, leading him through the hallways.

"Much better. I guess I just needed to close my eyes for a little. I need a bath after breakfast though." He chuckles.
"Food first." He hums as he relaxed.

He laughed. "Alright. There's a bathroom attached to your room." He replied with a smile, leading Aki into the dining room.

Aki follows after, his tail wagging excitedly at the thought of food. He hums as he hurries after the other.

Lucien grinned. "Oh, there's a buffet today!" He led Aki over, and handed him a plate. "Here."

Aki gently took the plate and smiles a little, "Thank you." He takes a small bite of food and his eyes instantly brighten. "It's so yummy!"
