Lucien kept walking. "You alright?" He asked, glancing down at Aki.
Lucien kept walking. "You alright?" He asked, glancing down at Aki.
Aki shakes his head slowly. "Headache… I'll be fine…" He whispers.
"Hmm. I'm taking you to the healer's to get some meds, then. We need you in good shape." Lucien said, still walking.
Aki nods as he leans into the other. His head ached, but he tried to ignore it.
Lucien kept carrying him gently, securely, pace are and easy. When they reached the healer's, he set Aki down and spoke with the healer quietly.
The magicians apprentice sighed softly as he was carried, grateful that he was so gentle. Aki groaned quietly, shutting his eyes as his headache grew worse. He felt a tug in his gut and he slowly eased before following the tug.
Lucien glanced at him, then the healer came over. "Hello. What seems to be the matter?" The healer questioned, looking at Aki.
Aki hissed in pain, "Headache…" He mutters softly as he looks down. He sighed and shook his head before sighing and shutting his eyes as he tried to ease some of the pain.
The healer nodded, and headed over to a Cabinet, working on making something to help.
Lucien looked at him, and gently brushed a hand across his forehead. "You can't work yourself like this." He said quietly.
Aki was exhausted. He leaned into Luciens touch. He chuckled weakly. "I know… but I have to find out who tried to murder the king…" He whispers. "There has to be some way…." He whispers as he slowly opens his eyes and hissed in pain.
Lucien shook his head. "No. I mean yes, we do want to find that out, but…you can't overwork yourself like this." He said gently.
He sighed. "I have to figure out who tried to murder the king-" his groans softly, holding his head.
The healer came back, placing a bottle of something in Aki's hand. "Drink this, it should help. And get some sleep."
Lucien nodded to the healer, then looked at Aki. "Yes, that's important, but not at the detriment of your own health." He replied.
Aki took the drink, sitting up slowly to sit at it. It had a bitter taste to it, but he drank it anyway. He glances at the Prince. "I know. I just want to solve this before there's another assassination attempt." he sighed and looked down. "There might not be. But the best thing to be is prepared." He could hear the cards whispering to him.
Lucien nodded. "Again, I don't want you working yourself to death. If I have to come find you every twelve hours to make sure you get sleep, I will."
Aki nods slowly and takes a deep breath, wincing at the pain in his head. He was exhausted.
Lucien picked him up again. "Now. You're going to bed." He said firmly, carrying the other male carefully out of the room.
He chuckles quietly. "Very well." He allows himself to be carried, sighing softly.
Lucien smiled slightly, and kept walking, still carrying Aki.
Aki allowed himself to relax, a small breath escaping his lips.
Lucien carried him through the hallways, holding the other male gently. "Feeling any better?" he asked, glancing down at Aki.
Aki nods a little and sighs softly, leaning into the other. "A little bit better." he whispers quietly. He leans into the other and smiles a little.
Lucien smiled. "Good." he replied, heading down a hallway, then into an empty bedroom. He gently set Aki down on the bed. "Here." he said. "If you need anything, that bellpull summons a servant." he gestured.
He lets himself be carried, his head resting on the others shoulder. "Thank you…" he mutters softly. He curls into the covers and nuzzles into Lucien. He slowly fell asleep.
Lucien froze. "Uhm…you're welcome." he tried to disentangle himself from Aki without waking him up.
