He nuzzled closer and before slowly falling asleep. This was his safe have… his happy place.

He slowly fell asleep too, curled close to Aki on the bed.

(alright!)

He awoke after about an hour or so, and sat up with a mumbled curse. He rubbed his face with a hand, looking sleepily over at Aki. They needed to start getting ready to go.

Aki was sleeping peacefully beside his prince, curled up a little. His tail was curled around himself and his ears were flicking a little bit in content.

He smiled a little, leaning over and gently shaking Aki's shoulder. "Aki, love, time to get up." he said softly.

Aki hummed and slowly woke up, smiling contentedly at Lucien. "Mmm… Already?" He murmured softly. His hair was fluffy from the bath earlier.

Lucien smiled softly, nodding. "Yeah. We've got to get ready to go." he smoothed a hand through Aki's hair.

He leaned into the others hand, giving a content purr before nodding. "Mmm… Okay…" He mumbles softly. "Mmm… Do you want me to help you get ready?"

He considered the question for a moment, then shrugged. "I mean, we both still have to get ready, not just me." he kept stroking his hand through Aki's hair, smiling a little.

Aki chuckles. "I just have to put on my robes…" He hummed softly. "Not much…" He leaned into the others side, kissing the palm of his hand gently. "So if you want help…" He mumbles softly.

He raised his eyebrows a little, leaning in for a soft kiss. "I think I can handle it on my own, love."

He nods slowly and kisses the other back. "Alright. If you say so." He kisses Lucien again before slowly getting up.

He smiled a little, straightening and heading over to his closet to get his clothes out.

He hums and kisses the others cheek. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He coos softly. He exits the room and heads to his own room to get dressed.

He nodded a little, and started to get dressed.

Aki returned after a moment in his magician's robes, knocking quietly on Lucien's door. "It's me, love!"

Lucien opened the door. He was dressed in a smart, dark suit, with a deep green tie. He had a brush in his hand and was brushing out his hair.

He blushed a little and smiled. "You look amazing." He kissed the others cheek and cupped his cheeks. Aki brushes past the other and settles onto his bed as he waits.

He smiled back, still working on brushing his hair until it was smooth and tangle-free, then reached up and started working on braiding it. "Thanks, love."

"Hmmmm, of course love." He hummed and spread out on the bed and gave a relaxed sigh. "Of course… Are you prepared for tonight…?" He asks quietly.
