I let out a groan of frustration. “Can I at least see it?” I asked out of sheer exhaustion.
I let out a groan of frustration. “Can I at least see it?” I asked out of sheer exhaustion.
"No, I'm not stupid." Raising my eyebrow, I stopped next to a large tree just off school property. "Then you'd know where I have it."
“Bring it in to school tomorrow. Let me see it.” I insisted, slowing to a stop. I added a begrudging “Please?” afterwards.
"Why should I?" I leaned against the trunk of the tree, soaking up the cool shade. "You'll just try to grab it and run."
“Take a picture of it and show it to me then! I need proof it’s okay.” I paced back and forth like a caged animal, too anxious to stand still.
I gave a playful, purposely infuriating little shrug. "I'll think about it."
“I know what you’re doing, Capulet! I’m not going to let you get in my head.” I snarled, taking a threatening step towards her.
"What're you going to do?" I taunted, reaching forward to give his nose a sharp flick. "Lay a hand on me, and you'll never see your phone again."
I tensed up as Marina flicked my nose, taunting me. I let out a frustrated growl of sorts, halting as I looked over her with a scowl. “I hate you.”
I grinned and flicked it again. "The feeling is mutual."
“You’re pushing your luck.” I sneered, both my fists clenched. Every muscle in my body was taught and ready to spring into a fight. “You’re nothing but a coward.”
"Oh?" I raised an eyebrow, leaning forward until we were nearly nose-to-nose. "How so?"
“You’re lording this over me because you’re scared to fight me.” My voice got quieter as she minimized the distance between us.
“Nope.” I flashed a teasing grin. “It’s just fun.”
“Then fight me. Right here. Right now.” I closed the distance between us, pressing my forehead against hers as I spoke.
My heart began to pound, adrenaline flooding me until I couldn’t think, I just did.
Meaning, I gave Mercutio a kick that sent him flying.
I love Marina so much))
“Fuck!” I yelled, landing on my back with a groan. My head hit the pavement and suddenly the world was spinning as I sat up. “Fuck.” I repeated again, softer this time as I gritted my teeth and rubbed my head, feeling for blood.
(Thank you!
G’morning
How’re you?)
I crouched next to him, resting my elbows on each knee. “Aw, poor baby.” Reaching out with one arm, I gave him another sharp flick, this time in the centre of his forehead.
Morning! I’m doing good! I have a two hour delay for school so I got an extra hour of sleep. How’re you today?))
“You’re wicked, you know that?” I grumbled, flinching a little as she flicked me. I blinked a few times, trying to make the world stand still so I could regain my bearings.
(Lucky! Because of weather?
I’m okay)
“Considering the fact that you almost dragged my best friend to her death,” I started calmly, “I think it’s safe to say that you deserved that.”
“You’re still on that? She’s fine. Let it go.” I snapped, glaring at her despite my unfocused vision.
(Yeah! It snowed.)
“Aw, but holding grudges is fun!” I shifted back into a cross-legged position, inspecting my nails for any cracks.
“Why’re you still here? Don’t you have someone else’s life to ruin?” I spat, turning my head away so I didn’t have to look at her.
I lifted an eyebrow. “I’m ruining your life? A tad melodramatic, no?”
“You’ve cut me off from everyone after we get out of school!” I snarled, still refusing to face Marina.
