(Oh lol that's fine! I was just confused.)
"So… Lord Shiva is a giant of sorts?" Chandra struggled to wrap her mind around this.

"He's a god," Belphegor said. "He's the god of destruction, and I've never seen him before, but I don't think he's depicted as being giant."
Nino pulled out a pocket scythe and cut her hair shorter than it was perfectly calm about the fact they are meeting with a god of destruction soon "He should be pretty calm if you look for the geysers or volcanoes notice how they are still"
"…and why do you know so much about gods?" Chandra asked, confused.
"Monotheism is a good tool for us" Nino pointed up for no real reason what so ever
"I mean, I guess. I've only ever known one God in my existence," Chandra shrugged.
"I've spent a lot of time in India and Mesopotamia in general," Belphegor explained. "Most of us demons spent most of history on earth, hanging out. I've always liked Shiva. He's a chill dude. Plus he's got a bull, Nandi, and I love bulls. Don't worry about his being the god of destruction, by the way Chandra. He spends almost all his time meditating. He's really a peaceful guy."
(Just so you guys know, I'm trying to figure out a system where I'm replying to my rps a least once every other day, but I have a ton of them, and I'm super busy, so I'm so sorry if I'm still late sometimes!)
"Huh… interesting. Then why is he the god of destruction?" That didn't seem right. The supposed god of destruction liked to meditate?
"It's complicated, but the general gist of it is that in Hindu mythology, destruction isn't a bad thing. It's just matter shifting from one form to another. Hardly anything in their mythology is violent, even Shiva, lord of disaster, Brahma, god of creation, and Vishnu, the maintainer, are all the same, three heads, part of one celestial being. It's really complicated, like I said, but everything revolves around peace and balance." Belphegor smiled. "The Indian people have always had their priorities right. Even demons aren't inherently evil in their mythology."
(I'll reply, don't worry. I just want to wait for @Loki_Lyakuya to get a reply in before they get left behind.)
(For sure! ^^)
Nino had almost fallen asleep midair as she listened to the conversation still not being engaged to it in the talking sense
"Interesting, so all the religions or, at least the mythologies and gods/goddesses are connected in some way?" Chandra asked, tilting her head at Belphegor.
"Seems that way" Nino mumbled hoping not to be heard and be called out by Belphegor
"Basically," Belphegor agreed cheerfully. "I mean it's way more complicated than I could ever understand, really. But I do know quite a bit about India. Spent a couple thousand years here, actually." He turned to Nino, tilting his head curiously.
"Where have you spent your time? I haven't seen much of you around in the last hundred years, anyway."
"Just wandering the human realm and learning of their culture" Nino answered from her spot in the air although her tone seemed nonchalant she was on edge having been asked this question even when she knew it was coming "although I had lost my partner Asra during my travels. May he be at peace" Nino's shoulders slowly drooped as she remembered the demon who she had grown to love
Belphegor cast her a sympathetic look. It knew the pain of losing close friends, but never a loved one.
"I'm sorry to hear that," it said quietly. "I met him once, he was an outstanding demon."
Chandra's face fell, though her eyes were sparkling. "Our Father will make sure he is at peace," she assured Nino. "There is no need to worry. I am sure he was a special person, and he will receive the best of care up above."
Nino snapped "HE'S A DEMON HE CAN'T GO TO HEAVEN HE JUST DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE!!" she turned and looked away pulling her hood up covering her face to hide her tears
Chandra's voice softened, speaking quietly. "Even still, our Father will make sure that He treats him well," she reassured Nino, referring to the Devil in the only way she'd been taught to refer to him as.
Nino said nothing and walked off a little bit but not far enough as to be out of her own ear shot and sighed as she made a figure out of magic to play with and watch it.
Belphegor stayed out of it. this was an issue the two of them would have to work out, it knew. It hoped they could find a way to get along, he liked them both equally, and would hate to have to chose should they decide to split up.
"Listen, we're almost there," it said instead, pointing up to a mountain rearing ahead of them. "He lives at the top, but it won't be that hard of a climb."
Nino turned and walked up to Belphegor "Let's make this quick please" then past him in the way of the mountain sighing as she got a fair lead hoping not to seem so stressed but had no remorse in her mind oddly enough about her outburst to Chandra closing her eyes she turned to wait on her group
