(np!)
"Okii, we're off!" it said cheerfully, taking firm hold of their hands and teleporting straight to what once was the heart of Mesopotamia.
"Welcome, my friends, to Eanna, the ancient temple tribute to Anu. Have either of you been to Uruk before?"

@V01DtheFae group

"I haven't been here in forever wow this should be fun but last time i think i destroyed a few things" Nino rubbed the back of her neck nervously as she gave a small chuckle and looked around

@Oakiin

"Uruk is the ancient heart of Mesopotamia," Belphegor informed Chandra. "It's an old Temple City, where they used to worship An."
It raised an eyebrow at Nino, stifling a slight smile. "Well, if anyone gets angry with you, i'll pretend I don't know you, how's that? But I wouldn't worry too much. These guys are powerful, but they don't have the best memories sometimes. Unless you burned the temple down, I don't think they'll even know who you are."
It's gaze became suspicious. "You weren't the one that started the wildfire that wiped out the entire city for a decade, right? Because they might remember that."

@saor_illust school

(lol)
"I see. But, in the case that they do remember you, Nino, I think I'm just gonna side with Belphegor. I'm just going to pretend that I don't know who the heck you are," Chandra told Nino, managing a tiny smile, even in light of the current events. They were the ones trying to save the world, and she felt a tremendous amount of stress weighing heavily upon her.

"I did burn the city down did know i thought it was just the forest" Nino gave a sheepish smile and a shrug "Whoops, although i think that wildfire wasn't me" she looked around the temple with a confident look

@Oakiin

"Aw, well, shooty. They'll probably have forgotten, so I say we go find out," Belphegor said with a grin. It turned to face a huge, crumbled carving on the wall of the underground temple. Reaching out it's hand, it closed its eyes and summoned enough demonic energy to wake the carving, the stone's closed eyes opening to reveal two blank grey marbles staring out at them.
"Hello, my lord Anu," Belphegor said with a sweeping bow, gesturing for his friends to do the same.

@saor_illust school

Chandra looked at Belphegor for a while, and then quickly bowed, only saying, "Mi'lord." As an afterthought, she thought it might've been more appropriate to call "Anu" a majesty, but the chance had already past, and there was nothing she could do about it.

@Oakiin

The carving regarded them with a cold, dispassionate gaze. It tilted its head, blinking slowly before finally beginning to speak, it's voice as deep as thunder, something ancient and powerful crackling through the air.
"Who are you, and why are you in my temple?" the carving asked, decidedly irate. Belphegor deflated slightly, wincing.
"It's me, An," it gently prompted. "Belphegor? Prince of Hell? No? Okay."
It turned away slightly with a sigh. "These old gods, what did I tell you," it muttered.
"FACE ME WHEN YOU SPEAK!" Bellowed the carving, a gust of power surging out and flattening Belphegor to the nearest wall.
"Okay! Sorry, sorry, sheesh. I helped you cut down the invading Hillers, remember that? I was that demon who jumped in front of the enemies spear aimed for your heart. Hurt, that did."
The carving blinked again, then its expression cleared.
"Ah. Yes. That one. And who are these?" it stared down at Nino and Chandra.

@V01DtheFae group

Nino stared at Chandra then turned back to Anu and regarded him with the kindest tone she could “I am a seraphic demon of fair rank I have been named Nino”

@Oakiin

Belphegor leaned closer to Chandra and whispered, "It's a manifeste. He's not actually here, just channeling through the carving. Go on, introduce yourself."
Meanwhile the carving had been staring dispassionately at Nino.
"I feel like I remember that name," it mused, it's glassy grey eyes boring into her.

@Oakiin

The carving stared blankly at them, before tilting its head slightly.
"And what do you want?" it asked, sounding as though it really couldn't care less.
"Well, sir, you see, there have been…problems with this dimension, and we were just wondering if you or any of your buddies might know why." Belphegor explained, shifting to lean his arm on Chandra's shoulder. "We're gonna try and fix it, whatever it is."
Anu considered them for a moment, then shifted, warping out of the wall until the carving towered before them, holographic and glittering like the night sky.
"I've seen this," it said, considering them. "There is something wrong with the Source. It's not sorting and dividing the way it should. You should speak with Shiva. He will know more."

@saor_illust school

Chandra glanced at Belphegor's arm for a second, and then turned her attention back to Anu. "…the Source? What's that?" she had heard many things in her time, but always been told stories of her God creating everything.

@V01DtheFae group

Nino looked at Chandra guessing her thoughts “God didn’t create everything where do you think they came from” a smile formed on her lips as she looked away towards Belphegor

@saor_illust school

She shrugged and looked at Nino. "Um… God?" Chandra then started to have an internal conversation regarding the use of "Um." You… you… piece of poo! she finally came up with an insult that didn't conflict with her beliefs.

@V01DtheFae group

Nino could see the struggle on Chandra face and tried to not burst out laughing OML she really can't be mean can she then she sarcastically added on top of her thoughts "So is it possible for you to be mean or is there no way you'll say one small bad word?"

@Oakiin

"Are you going to bicker all day, or are you going to get out of my temple?" growled Anu, sending a burst of sudden hostility through the air with his words. Belphegor beat a hasty retreat, grabbing its friend and backing up.
"We're juuust leaving, m'lord. Chandra, I'll explain the Source in one hot sec," it said, then teleported away, dragging the angel and demon with it.
"Whew," it said brightly as they appeared in India. "That was getting close to sketchy. You guys all good?"

@saor_illust school

"Um… where are we?" Chandra asked, sort of ignoring Nino's question. She liked to stack things in order of importance, whether it was things to do in Heaven, or thoughts. First up on her pyramid of thoughts was knowing where Belphegor had teleported them.
