Her eyes flashed dangerously at him, but she uncovered her face and giggled. “I admit you’re attractive but no, I do not want to do that with you quite yet. But ask me again when I’m drunk.” She playfully joked. She had no idea what she was saying or doing.
“What are you drinking?” She asked softly.
"What kind of gentlemen would I be to take advantage for such a beautiful women?" The way she'd looked at him didn't go unnoticed. If anything it almost made Samule raise an eyebrow again. Though he kept from doing so, He didn't want her to know that she was getting the better of him.
Samule grinned, "something much stronger. Who knows, perhaps I'll be the drunk one tonight." It didn't help that he'd already had a few drinks, even if he was feeling rather fine still. The tables could turn at any moment, leaving him unguarded, and absolutely stupid.
Rosemarie blushed, turning her head away from him. "You wouldn't be a gentleman at all." She stated, looking up at him. So what if he was a demon, he was attractive and kind. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all.
"Then I'll be taking care of you." She rolled her eyes. "Where is it you want to stay? Just so I know where to go if you get drunk?" Marie stepped back away from him and looked down at herself, tilting her head. "Should I stick to this dress or go for something more drink-worthy?"
Samule grinned at her blush. Was he trying to get her to blush? "You're adorable." He said, his grin turning to a kind smile. He was a demon of Pete's sake! Why was he being so kind? He took a moment to think, maybe the alcohol was having am effect on him? No, it couldn't be. Not so soon.
"Up stairs. This place has it all." He winked. Well maybe not everything, but a casino and bar, yes. "Why change your dress?" He frowned, looking her up and down. "Unless its something?" He gave her a look, asking if the dress would be much different.
"Am not." She said, sticking out her tongue at him. She playfully tugged on his sleeve, nodding towards the bar and smiling at his question. "I don't know. Maybe I just want to impress you? Maybe I want to show off a little. Why don't you chose my dress for me." She challenged, her eyes sparkling mischievously. "After all, you do keep calling me beautiful I'm curious as to what you want me in." Now she was playing with fire. She wanted to test him, to see how far he would go. Rosemarie had to make sure she wouldn't fall for him too hard… She couldn't. He was a forbidden man. No demon could mate or date or even touch an angel.
"Well," Samule took a moment to think. He watched her carefully, almost like a predator once again. The seconds seemed to stretch into minutes. At last he raised his hands in defeat. "You're fine as you are. Unless you do wish to change, then I'm not stopping you."
Their drinks had been placed infrount of them, and Samule hadn't even noticed till just then. "Try not to show off to much, I don't want other men looking at you." He winked and took a sip of his drink.
This time she didn't shy away from his predator-like eyes. She stood confident in them, letting him observe her. The slit in her dress had returned to its full length, but she didn't do much to hint towards it. In fact, she stood nearly completely still. When he spoke again she smirked. "Glad to hear I'm at least decent in your eyes." She joked, picking up her brightly colored drink and studying it. She loved the yellows and oranges and yet there was something forbidden about it. Just as the man in front of her was forbidden. That didn't mean she didn't want them any less.
Rosemarie flashed him a look when he spoke again, rolling her eyes dramatically. She brought the glass to her lips and drank, shuddering as it burned her throat. The liquid was sweet on her tongue. "What's so wrong with the other men looking at me? Does it make you jealous? I'm not even yours, Samule." Her tone was flirty, her eyes challenging him.
Samule smiled as she took a drink. He hadn't really expected her to, so the fact that she had, well the surprised him. He took a few more sips of his, finishing it off rather quickly. Boredly he set his now empty glass down before Turing his gaze to her once again. Yes he had noticed the slit, but when she'd fixed it he hadn't really known. Perhaps during the kiss, or the fight, or even just then. "More then descent." He stated, "as I've said before, beautiful."
Though her next few words are what really got him. Jealous? The demon almost choked on his own air. "What if I am?" He asked after recomposing himself. "And what if I want you to be mine, Rosemarie?" He returned her flirty tone. He figured two could play at this game. But who would win, now that was the real question.
“Im flattered.” She turned to him, her eyes cheerful and playful, “but you’re not the first to tell me that. Many of the human’s I’ve helped have said the same thing. It’s a constant stream of! ‘I can’t believe my guardian angel is so beautiful’ ‘oh my that’s the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen’ and the ever classic ‘I want you to be mine, you beautiful angel, but our love is forbidden’.” That last one had been a tease towards him. She mimicked his voice, grinning from ear to ear.
That grin was wiped clean from her face at his next words. She looked nearly shocked, her eyes wide and round. It took her a moment, but she recomposed herself and leaned forwards, grabbing his collar “Prove it~” She purred, her eyes flickering to his lips. This was just supposed to be a tease and a joke but she really wanted to be kissed again by him.
Samule chuckled, and rolled his eyes. "Lucky I'm not human then, huh?" He said once she had finished her long list. Though he did notice the last one. How she seemed to be direct the last one twords him. "First off I don't sound like that, and second, I've never said that. At least not word for word."
The demon took delight at her expression, how she seemed to be completely taken by what he'd said. But then it was his turn to be shocked. He'd been completely caught off guard by her sudden change of aidatude. Not that he minded no, in fact he liked being kept on his toes. It kept things interesting, And so he kissed her. Letting his hands slid around her waist and pulling her closer. Complet forgetting where they were, and mentally telling anyone who was watching to screw off.
His first few words were nearly forgotten as he actually leaned in and kissed her. She gasped softly, her hand on his collar tightening the other laying flat against his chest. Unconsciously she relaxed in his arms, wrapping one arm around his neck.
Her heart was beating faster than it should have been. She shouldn’t have been enjoying this but she was. She wanted more of it. Rosemarie wanted a demon.
Samule half expected her to push him away. To say she was joking, and tell him that if he ever touched her again she'd stab him. But she didn't. He didn't know why he'd thought that, they had kissed before. So what was so different this time? The fact that he'd given her, her freedom and could have actually run away if she'd so wished?
He smiled into the kiss, the gasp that'd escaped her making him actually happy. "Well," he said pulling away, but not to far, "does that prove it?" He'd stayed close enough so there was barely a few inches between their lips.
The angel looked blown away, her expression soft and her eyes dazed. She was leaning into him, her whole body nearly pressed against his. “Maybe for a minute… I might need more convincing…” she teased, letting go of his clothes and fixing him up, her eyes flickering to his lips once more. He was so close… it would be so easy to lean back in.
“So, a demon wants an angel. This is forbidden, you know.” She teased him, giggling softly and pressing a small kiss to his lips. “Maybe I long for you too. Just a little bit.”
"Well I'd be more then glad to fully convince you if needed." Samuel noticed when she looked down at his lips, and to be honest he looked down at her lips too. Yes he wanted to kiss the angel again, he was captivated by her.
"Who's gonna stop us?" He asked trailing a finger down her cheek, and drawing little swirls along the way. "Only a little?" He trailed kisses down the side of her face untill her found her lips once again. "I'm sure there's more then just a little want, little angel."
“No one… we’re on our own here…” she purred, leaning into his touch and shivering. She nodded softly, blushing at the words and kisses.
“There is a lot more than just a little.” She whined, her arms tightening around his neck as their lips met once more. “I’m seriously considering dropping everything I know and joining you…”
"Don't be so quick to pick a demon." Samule said, a smile finding its way to his lips. "We tend to be dangerous, and have a thing for stabbing each other in the back." Its not that he was trying to push her away. If anything he was trying to warn her.
Demons could kill, and then turn around a kiss a beautiful angel. So who was to say they where trust worthy? Who was to say being with one was good? It was part of the reason Samuel had only ever had one night stands with humans. Never staying anywhere long.
"Are you telling me to run away?" She asked smugly. "That you might hurt me? Baby I'm prepared to have my wings ripped off for you. I'm in this one hundred percent or I'm in this none." Her tone was serious, and the look in her eyes told him she wasn’t going to back down. If anything, Rosemarie knew she was giving herself up to a death sentence. "If you hurt me, I'll understand. You are a demon.”
He had planned to kill her when he first had her trapped. She didn't doubt he could turn violent on her again but she still placed her trust in him. If it got her killed, she had nothing to lose. After all, she had given her soul to him.
(I'm sorry if my writing is dry.)
"I don't intend on being the one to hurt you." Samule smiled, something behind it dark and contradicting his tone, soft. He found himself wanting to be the one protecting her. "I'll make sure you keep your wings." And though he didn't say it, it was implied that he'd kill every other angel there was if he had to.
He wanted her to be in this. He wanted to see how far she'd go for a demon. If she'd try and stop him or help him. What was in store for their future was a secret that not even the fates themselves knew.
He saw how serious she was, he trusted her. Though he did find himself smirking at the fact that she'd called him baby. "Well little angel, if you're in then so am I."
(No, no, it’s alright. I understand. It’s hard to write sometimes. I’m sorry this is so late, I had work)
His smile brought a small one to her own face. She was shocked at her own words, at the promises she was giving. Would it be too much? Would this all fail? She wasn’t sure, but quite frankly, she didn’t care.
“Mm, I’m glad we are on the same page.” Rosemarie was certain that if her wings had been out her feathers would have been quaking at the way he looked at her.
Samuels smile stayed on his lips. Kind and terrifying, cold, yet some how caring. But he was still a demon, so who cold say what was really behind it? Trusting a demon was playing with fire. But who was really the fool here? The Demon or the Angel? Cold he trust her as much as she seemed to trust him?
"Still feel like killing every demon?" The smile twisted into something wicked, Somehow explaining the blood that he'd had on his knuckles earlier. "I said I'd teach you wouldn't I?" Now he deffently wasn't done drinking, but it could wait. He wasn't so stupid to get caught and thrown in a prison again. Especially if he knew his little trick wouldn't work a second time. To top it off he wouldn't be there for Rosemarie if he did.
Her eyes flashed dangerously. “I do… Maybe I’ll turn and kill you too one day. But for now, I need you.” She folded her arms, suddenly becoming a little forlorn. “How else will I survive?”
Rosemarie sighed deeply. “We should find our hotel room, no? Then we can get as much alcohol as you want and you can teach me there.”
(I don't officially start my internship untill next month, so I should be here for the rest of June?)
"Kill me if you wish little angel," Samule narrowed his eyes at her. But he wasn't mad, no in fact he was ready for that. He'd have thought her crazy if she wouldn't try. "You can have your soul back if you do."
The demon nodded his head, and slid off his stool offering his arm to the angel. "I prefer more, hands on training." His grin had finally slipped from his face. Leaving something more dangerous in its wake. "There's a few traitors I'd love for you to meet." And by his tone, the meeting would be anything but plesent. At least for the demons that is.
(Yay! Have fun at your internship fam!)
“You’re very willing to be killed.” She noted, looking over his face with a soft expression. “I’ll never understand demons..” she murmured, more to herself than anyone.
Rosemarie took his arm rather willingly once she had drained her cup. She felt a little sick at the thought of killing but the more she considered how many angels had been killed by a demon’s - especially Samule’s - hands. “As long as I don’t get my wings stained.”
(Ah thanks. I'll try.
Also, you chill with some gore?)
Smaule could say the same, angels truly baffled him. Especially this one, Rosemarie. "Not nescacerly." He remarked, an answer to her first statement, even though he wasn't so sure she'd been looking for one.
"Oh trust me, you won't." And with that the casino bar changed into something different. It was dark and somehow warm. Though warm was an understatement, it was hot. So much so The demon had changed his clothes when their surroundings had. "I don't suggest a dress." He said as he led her down a dark passage.
(I’m good with gore)
She chose to ignore his phrase, instead looking up at his face in curiosity as the world around began to change. She shuddered slightly at the warmth, knowing very well that she was somewhere many angels didn’t want to go.
Rosemarie nodded at his words and stepped away from him to let her clothing slip into a more comfortable tank top and shorts.
