and oh gosh. Good luck with that? xD)
That day was Miserably cold, somewhere a dripping nose could be heard, mixing with the moans of other prisoners. He sighed deeply knowing it was rare for the angles to capture someone. They considered it a blessing to be killed and freed from a pitiful existons. Samuel almost laughed aloud. The audacity of angles, Samuel didn't agree with them one bit.
He looked around, memorizing the cell for the thousandth time. The once white walls now a gray color, a crack or two here amd there, and the bars. Oh how he loathed those things. They glowed with the enchatments that kept him there. If they'd been normal, he'd have gladly broken out years and years ago, only to slaughter every angle he could find.
(Thanks faaam)
The angel felt light hearted and warm that cold day. Rosemarie had taken a day for herself, watching over the gentle humans and helping out those who needed just a little extra push. She happily hummed a small tune to herself as she ran her fingers through her golden curly locks. The second she returned home she would definitely give her large wings a good stretch. It was stiffening to keep them hidden away all day. The thought brought a smile to her face as she walked, flashing smiles to strangers just to give them a brighter day. Of course she was aware of the distress of the prisoners. She had detected it from the moment she had been assigned this area. But throughout her busy day Rosemarie had never taken the chance to find out where it was coming from.
Today was a little different.
Of course as Samule had tried to escape, and of course it failed him every time. Back in those early days he'd call upon the shadows to come to his aid. They never came. He tried destroying the bars, but that only burned his hands. After all, he did still have the marks to prove it. Samuel wondered of this was how Hell was for humans. Even if this was a lot nicer then Hell. So it wasn't like he'd much to complain about, other then how bored he got. Samuel wondered of Hell and oh how he missed it, like a fish did water. Another sigh escaped him, the cold air forming a cloud as he did.
The angel decided simply flying would be quicker. She masked herself so as not to alarm any humans of her rather dazzling true form. She quite preferred her radiating heavenly beauty to her earthly beauty. But she was not vain in the least. Oh no, not one bit. She wasn’t quite like the other angels in Heaven. She preferred to remain down on earth and hardly ever dealt with demons. She hated to spill blood.
Marie came to the enterance of the prison, tilting her head at the solemn place. Once inside it was dark, cold, and dreary. It chilled her to her bones and made her feathers quiver. This didn’t seem like a human fortress. She felt the gaze of a few prisoners as she walked, feeling their hate burn holes in her wings and soul. This place physically hurt her. She wanted to leave.
Just as she was about to turn away, a particular prisoner caught her eye. He seemed human enough, and looked absolutely miserable in here. Her compassionate heart ached. “Why are you locked away here?” She asked him gently, her voice silvery and flowy, like a glass lake in the moonlight. Marie tucked her wings into her back, not putting them away quite yet.
(I'm pulling a blank on spelling oh gosh.)
Samuel had been watching the Angle cautiously. Wondering if she was here on duty. Though when she stopped to talk to him of all others, he nearly had a small panic attack. He studied her carefully, trying to decide how he wanted to play this. He looked human enough. Granted the darkness made his black eyes just seem a very dark brown. Along with how he saw no benefit to have his wings, and horns on display. Besides that, his hair hung ruggedly in his face, as it'd been a very long time since he'd had a hair cut. Finally he responded, "I don't quiet know." His own voice shaky. An act, as he saw this as an opportunity. One that just might mean his freedom.
(It’s okay. XD I do that all theee time. But fam I’m just gunna say y’all are good at writing)
Her kind heart broke at his shaky voice. Oh the naive angel had no idea what she was getting herself into. Marie moved closer to study this ‘human.’ He definitely didn’t belong here. She could help him. After all, she was wonderfully good at helping humans correct their lives. “Let’s get you out, then, you poor human. I will help you along your way.” She beamed, excited to have a new person to help.
Rosemarie hovered her fingers just above the bars, closing her eyes and focusing as she undid the spell placed upon them. The door swung open, the gentle angel stepping back to let the human walk out. “There!”
(Ahhh, no one's ever complemented my writing before, thank you! You're also a good writer!)
As the enchantments undid Samuel could feel power slowly seeping back into him. A wicked grin tugged at his lips. The cold air seemed to be even colder as Samuel took a step out. If he'd have known how easy that'd been, he'd have tried it years ago. "Thank you, little angle." His eyes searched her face. Wondering if this angle was powerful enough to stuff him back in his cell.
Samuel snapped his fingers, fixing himself up instantly. Whatever about him seeming human, quickly being replaced with devilish features. His horns and leathery wings coming out, and his hair reducing to a mashable length.
(Thank uuu tooo)
Of course the angel wasn’t powerful enough. She was a low tier angel, only good for helping others. She ruffled her feathers to try and make them stop quivering at the coldness of the room. Her smile faded as he fixed himself up. Horror spread across her beautiful features as she took a step backwards. Her wings burst open, a reflex she had gained when she was scared.
Rosemarie had to get out of there immediately. She attempted to take off, a terrified look in her eyes. What had she done!?
Samules grin grew when he saw her horror. Though when she tried to escape be cursed. Its not like he could have her go telling her friends. Samuel lunged at her, dragging the angle to the ground. "Now now, little angle. Running away isn't so smart, now is it?" Whatever act he'd been putting up before long gone. Now his voice sounding sadistic, and pure evil. "We don't won't those pretty little wings of yours to break do we? It'd truly be a shame."
The angel cried out as she was forced back to the ground, struggling to break free until she processed what he had said. A whimper left her throat. Fear radiated off of her, his touch burned her soul and hurt her. He had a tight grip on her. Rosemarie’s wings dropped limp to the ground, her beautiful white and silver feathers collecting dirt and grime.
Hot tears of fear began to roll down her face, leaving her a mess. “D-Dont hurt me, please…”
Samuel wiped one of her tears away, his face softening in a cruel way. "Shh, there's no need to cry." He stood and pulled her up with him, keeping a tight grip. He didn't want to risk her trying to get away again. "As long as you corporate, you'll be okay." His voice soft, and almost comforting.
Samuel was tempted to toss her into the cell, and see how long it took her friends to find her. But something told him he just might need a hostage. He wasn't at his full strength, and fighting a bunch of angles like that would be a stupid move on his part. "You're gonna help me a little bit more, understood?"
Marie sniffled, letting her breath hitch in her throat when he wiped the tear from her face. Despite his warnings she flinched away from his touch, avoiding looking at him.
She hated how much control this… creature had over her. Hated how his tone grew comforting when she knew he didn’t mean it. It made her blood boil and for a moment, she grew a little more confident. “And if I don’t cooperate?” She asked softly, flashing him a dirty look to hide her terror.
She scowled at his words but nodded gently, to afraid to defy him. She was a low tier angel after all. She could hardly fight the lowest tier of demon - definitely not this creature. “With what?” She spat.
Samuel flashed another grin. "Don't corporate, and you will get hurt." He saw how she'd previously flinched from him, so he dragged a finger down her cheek. Taking in how her face had changed. How it no longer looked afraid. But he didn't need her to be afraid for this to work. All he needed was her to do what he said.
"I need you to mask us both. Your friends will put me back in there, and lets be honest, you too probably. Once this is all over, I let you go." The last part almost being a lie. Samuel didn't know what to do with her. Letting her go could mean she'd bring her friends back to him. And killing her wouldn't be much fun. At least not yet.
She squeezed her eyes shut, pulling her wings in close. She whimpered at his touch, but covered it up with another scowl. Though she appeared unafraid now, her feathers quivered and rattled, showing her true emotions.
Rosemarie didn’t listen to him for awhile, instead thinking over his words. He was right. She violated a sacred law. If she wasn’t cast out of Heaven for this then she would be placed in a prison. Slowly, carefully, she cloaked them both. “It’s done… where are you taking me…”
(Oh boy I fell asleep while responding. Sorry!)
"Wonderful." Samuel ignored her question. Not really quiet knowing himself. He started twords the exit of the prison, dragging the angle behind him. Freedom. He was finally free.
Samuel wondered how the world had changed in the years he was locked away. Once out of the prison he took a deep breath. Breathing in the fresh air. He exhaled, the cold making his breath a cloud. Samuel took it all in. Seeing how cars had changed, how buildings towered into the air now. Seeming as if they might reach the heavens.
Samules mind began racing with all the fun he could have. Leading humans down the wrong path. Screwing over the angles and slaughtering their strongest. He almost seemed like a starie eyed little kid. That is if that kid was planning awful things.
(It’s ok I went and saw endgame.)
All the while the angel wondered if she should make a run for it. If she even could. She had to escape somehow, but how could she ever return to the angels above? She was already a fallen. Her eyes flickered around, looking for an exit.
She glanced at the creature, scowling at his face. “I hate you.” She hissed under her breath, letting her feathers fluff out in aggression. And yet she didn’t attack. Even if she did have a silver dagger strapped to her thigh hidden below her clothes, she knew she stood no chance against him.
(Oooh, where you expecting the end?)
Samule glared back at her, His face thoughtful for a second as he didn't quiet hear her. "What was that, little angle?" He'd already found a liking for calling her that. In fact he didn't really see a reason for learning her real name. Unless they'd ne together for long, which he was sure they wouldn't.
Before even getting her answer he began walking again. His grip on her arm tightening as they went. He had to find someplace safe. At least untill he was strong enough to return to hell.
