Her eyes widened at his warning. She caught it heavily and it terrified her. She moved to the table in the corner and sat down, crossing her legs nervously. She looked down to her dirty clothing and sighed sadly. She could change that easily with her powers but it was a matter of if any humans were around and if Samuel would punish her for it.
(I'm good with anything, so its whatever you want.)
Samule slipped into the back, he knew someone who worked there- or at least he hopped they still did.
"Hello~" he said when he spotted his victum. The demon froze at Samuels voice. "long time no see old friend. Care to tell me how the angels found me oh so long ago?"
It wasn't long before Samule returned. He had on dark sunglasses now, even if it was inside. And had two drinks in his hands. "I got you a water." He said dryly and handed it to her before sitting across from her. "Though there's always something a little stronger if you'd like." He figured he would force her to drink anything she didn't want to.
(I’m good with anything too! XD we’ll just go and see how far it takes us.)
“Water is fine.” She stated quietly. Her eyes wandered away from his face and to the table. Despite sharing a ‘friendly’ drink with the creature she still didn’t trust him. And she still feared him.
He was far too laid back and it made her worry. He had to have been planning something. She slowly took a sip of her water, sighing at the hydration.
"Are you still afraid of me?" Samule asked while taking a sip of his drink. The alcohol felling like an old friend to him. He watched her over the rim of his drink, the hand he was holding it with having blood on it. As he didn't bother washing it off.
"We've been over this, I'm not gonna hurt you so stop acting like a scared puppy."
She whined, still looking away. “Sorry I can’t seem to trust you after what you pulled off.” She growled under her breath, downing the water in one gulp as if she had been thirsting to death.
Marie looking up at him and trembled. “What are you going to do with me in the long run?”
Samule grined. He was rather proud of himself, after all he didn't think the whole tricking an angel would work. "That one was on you." He said, rubbing it in.
He took a moment to consider her question. Did he dare tell a lie? Or should he tell her the truth? "I haven't decided yet. You've been such a good little pet, that you've made it hard."
She looked away, still upset by it. After all, it hadn’t happened too long ago. She frowned and shifted in her seat.
His next words struck fear into her very being. A good little pet… She didn’t like the idea of becoming his. Of having him own her.
His smile grew at her discomfort. "Calm down, little Angel. If your thinking I'm gonna kill you that's far from my mind. In fact," he leaned forward in his seat, "you're going to kill me, if you can of course. You'll have lots of opetuites, so don't freat."
She whimpered, looking away from him. She was extremely uncomfortable. “K-Kill you… right. I will do that… then I’m free?” She asked softly.
A thought suddenly came to mind and she paled. “And if I fail?”
"Kill me and you're more then free. You'll also probably redeem yourself to your fellow angels- though I don't know why you'd want to do that."
Samule again had to consider her question. An idea coming to him, but why would he tell her that so soon? "You get three chances. Use them with care."
He could heal quickly, so whatever she tried would have to be a killing blow. "In the meantime you'll get to kill other demons. In fact I already have one ready for you." He had no problem killing his own kind, or watching them die. Especially when they'd betrayed him.
She nodded softly, biting her lip. Three chances… but she’d Be free if he died… her eyes turned to Samuel, glaring at his not-so-handsome face. “What demon?” She asked softly, her eyes flickering dangerously. She had never killed but right now she felt murderous.
"a demon of lust." Samule grined at the look in her eye. This indeed would be a fun game. "He lusted after power, and the angles gladly gave that to him. Niw he's going to pay the price."
Samule threw the rest of his drink back, and waved a hand, his drink refilling.
"Sure you don't want anything stronger? Or perhaps more water? In sure you're partched after all that crying earlier."
“Easy… those are the demons I hate the most.” She growled. They caused addictions in the human world that were hard to undo. “Well, actually, I hate you more.” She huffed angrily.
She cast a glare his way at the mention of crying. “More water is fine. I don’t want to drink.” She growled. “No alcohol for me.”
"Awe, I feel so loved." Samule rolled his eyes, his tone very sarcastic. He liked how the Angel was quickly in the mood for murder.
"Your lose." He waved his hand, filling her cup back up with water.
“Shut up.” She growled, looking away. She took her cup and slowly sipped from it Again, afraid of what he filled it with. He couldn’t be trusted very well.
“You can get drunk all you want. But I don’t want to do something stupid.”
"Who says I'll be getting drunk?" Samule smiled and again threw back his drink. "Besides, that'd be an advantage to you. I'm not giving you any advantages."
He smiled at her telling him to shut up. "What are you gonna do if I dont? Make me?" Samule raised an eyebrow.
“Tsk. And so why should I be getting drunk? I’m not drinking. You’re not getting any advantage over me. You could just be trying to get me weaker than I already am.” She growled.
At his words she fell silent. After a moment of silence she stood. “I want to go back to the apartment. Your talking is giving me a headache.”
Samule pulled the keys from his pocket and dangled them in front of her. "What if I don't trust you?" He asked, still taunting her with the keys.
He finished his drink and stood. "Hope ya wouldn't mind if I make sure you make it back alright? It can be dangerous for a little Angel like yourself."
“Then it’s mutual. I don’t trust you too.” She hissed, glaring st the keys. She hesitantly reached for them, but soon retracted, biting her lip. She didn’t try for the keys.
“No I don’t mind.” She growled, frowning at him. “After all you’re probably going to lock me in anyways.”
Samule tossed her the keys. "No, just gonna make sure you get there okay. If you choose to leave," he narrowed his eyes at her, "I will hunt you down, and I will lock you away for the rest of eternity." his tone dangerous, making his threat seem real.
Marie blinked, catching the keys and looking up at him. His threat sent shivers down her spine. She nodded her understanding, clutching the keys close to her chest. “I-I won’t leave…” she murmured, biting her lip. She only had to kill him and she’d be forgiven…
But that seemed impossible at the moment. It was terrifying she didn’t want to be locked away nor treated like a pet by this demon. She wanted to go home. She wanted to lay down on her soft bed and talk with the other angels.
"I'm just gonna make sure you get back alright. Then I have some, business to attend to." Samule smiled kindly, even if it seemed like he couldn't, he did.
"And if you do chose to leave, do yourself a favor and tell me first." He tossed her a phone too. Something he most deffently stole.
She bit her lip and studied his face. “Why are you being so kind to me? I don’t understand.” She asked softly, shifting nervously. “A-Are you planning something?”
She caught the phone and stared at it. The black screen stared back. “I don’t understand. You’d let me walk around so freely?”
Samule only smiled, of course he was planning something. He was after all free after so many years.
"Not exactly. If I go back to the hotel and you're not there, I will hunt you down. If you don't tell me where you're going, I will hunt you down. If you try and hide, I will make sure you never see the ligh of day again."
Marie cowered at his words. She nodded slowly, shrinking away from him. “I-I’m not going to run away… I’m weaker than you. I’m prey…” she mumbled. “You’re obviously the alpha here.”
The angel glanced at him, her eyes widening. He was threatening and powerful. And he wondered why she feared him? “Just… don’t hurt me…”
