She shook her head, “I don’t know, humans are weird.”
The ferret traveled to her jacket hood and curled up there in the faux fur.

Lloyd nodded. “Definitely. I haven’t seen a single human carrying a weapon of any kind. They’re just so vulnerable all the time. I suppose that’s why we’re here, hmm?”
Sabina Agreed, “I watch over a little boy named Eli. He’s about three, and when his mom goes to work she drops him off here for me to babysit him.” She smiled, “he’s adorable.”
“So at least they have jobs… what work do humans do? From what else I’ve learned, probably something quite different to what I know.
“Um…some are artists, some run the states and govern the people, others perform on camera and get famous. To name a few.”
“Camera?” Lloyd seemed confused. “How does one perform on this ‘camera’?”
“Alright. Earth seems to be very different from heaven, and not particularly dangerous. I’m not entirely sure why it is necessary for us to be stationed here, but I am not one to question orders.”
(Previous response, weird glitch) Sabina smiled, “I’ll just have to show you sometime. I can’t explain it right now.”
———————————-
“I haven’t really needed to do much here other than watch after Eli, so it’s pretty nice. Not much to do.”
“Don’t you get… you know, bored?” Lloyd glanced at the door. “There’s not really much for you to do here.”
She glanced down at the floor, wings gradually drooping, “I suppose…yeah..”
“What do you do all day? When you’re not taking care of human youths, that is.”
“Normal human things.” She answered, “I go shopping. Then I come home..and stay home..most of the time.”
“What does one do at a human home?” (Lloyd really is clueless lol)
“How about I just give you a list?” She laughed, “I should get home, though…I’m just next door.”
“Alright. Farewell, Sabina.” Lloyd bowed again. “It was lovely to meet you.”
Sabina dipped her head in return, “Lovely meeting you as well, Lloyd, knock if you ever need anything.”
(Should we timeskip to some time?)
Lloyd closed the door after Sabina left and sighed. “I’ll never get used to this place, will I?” Sabina is… nice. And attractive. Attractive? What? I’m not attracted to anyone..
Sure! I can start if you’d like)
(Alrighty)
Sometime later, a couple days after they first met, Sabina knocked on Lloyd’s door with a paper mug and notebook in her hands. Apollo rested peacefully in her pocket, sound asleep with his tail draping out.
Lloyd looked up from his book when he heard the door. He hesitated a moment, before setting his book down and answering the door. “Hello?”
Sabina greeted him, “I have some things for you.”
“Things? For what?” Lloyd let Sabina into the apartment.
She stepped inside, “A list of normal human things, and this is a normal human drink. It’s called hot chocolate.” She handed the paper and cup to him.
“Hot chocolate?” Lloyd took the paper and hot chocolate and examined them. “What do you do with it?”
