"Definitely," Bryce murmured before leaning forward and taking her lips in his. Gosh, he'd missed this… When was the last time they'd kissed? Her lips were so soft, so smooth…
"Definitely," Bryce murmured before leaning forward and taking her lips in his. Gosh, he'd missed this… When was the last time they'd kissed? Her lips were so soft, so smooth…
Joy immediately wrapped her arms around him, kissing him back, pouring all the regret and sorrow and love she could muster into that one kiss.
She missed this. She missed feeling the warmth of his lips on hers, the way her lips molded perfectly in his. She loved the way he caressed her when he kissed her, holding on to her tightly. She missed this…
Bryce pressed harder against her lips. No matter what happened, he knew they would be okay. They were each other's one-and-only's.
"I love you so much," he murmured against her without breaking off the kiss.
Hear spread through Joy’s body as blood roared in her ears. She felt the vibrations when he spoke and clung harder to him, not wanting to let go, not wanting to part from the warmth he gave her.
“I love you, too,” she whispered, her voice muffled by his lips pressing hard against hers.
Bryce lifted a hand to her cheek and cupped it gently, the other slipping to her side and tugging her closer. He tilted his head a little, letting the kiss deepen. If she didn't want to go any further, he wouldn't, but… he did want to… It had been so long since they'd kissed this way…
Joy leaned into him, pushing herself against him as he tugged her closer. She missed his touches so much. She wanted him to touch her again, to get rid of the traces of the man she slept with.
Parting her lips, Joy accepted the unasked invitation, wanting him to ravish her mouth completely.
Bryce groaned slightly as he let his tongue enter her mouth, exploring it like he'd never done so before. He pressed harder against her, his other hand finding her waist as well and pulling her into his lap as he leave against the back of the couch.
Joy mewled softly against him, gasping when he pulled her onto his lap. Her fingers slipped down to fist his shirt, gripping it tightly, her knuckles turning white.
She trembled, Bryce’s kisses turning her into jelly. She gladly welcomed his tongue into her mouth with her own, trying to gain the upper hand but failing miserably.
"Joy…" Bryce groaned against her lips, pulling his tongue back to tug her lip teasingly. "Do you want to…"
Joy trembled, hating the way he teased her but loving it at the same time.
“Yes,” she gasped out, desperate to have his tongue in her mouth again. “Please.”
(Skip?
Not it!)
(I hate you~)
Joy shook with intense pleasure. She breathed out loudly, sweat coating her body. She was sprawled on the bed, her sweat-soaked hair sticking to her face, the arm of her boyfriend draped over her bare chest.
“Bryce…” she whispered, closing her eyes as she took in deep breaths. “Thank you…”
For forgiving me. For giving me a chance. For loving me, trusting me. For getting rid of his touch on my body.
(No you don't~! XD)
"Don't thank me… I was only doing what any decent guy would do," Bryce murmured, tugging her closer and pulling the blanket up over them. He kissed her cheek before burying his face in her neck. "I love you, and there's nothing you could do to ever change that, okay?"
(You’re right. XD)
Joy shook her head, tangling her legs with his and wrapping her arms around his torso, arching her back.
“No,” she whispered. “No one else would have accepted me. You did. I was expecting to be yelling at, kicked out, hit even… but you still accepted me…”
Bryce let out a slow breath as she wrapped herself around him. "I would never do any of those. Never. Especially not hitting you… Why would you ever think that?
Joy closed her eyes, finding herself at peace, wrapped around him like this.
“Because I did a wrong thing,” she whispered. “And I should be punished for it…”
“But hitting you? Joy… That’s abuse. I would never, never touch you in that way. Okay?” Bryce declared, pushing himself up onto one elbow so he could look down at her, the intense sincerity buring in his eyes.
Joy sniffled again, tears gathering at the corner of her eyes. She dug herself deeper into his embrace, wanting nothing more than to just lie in his hold, free and safe from the world.
She missed this. Missed his arms around her, his gentle caressing, his lovely words…
"Okay…" she said quietly. "I love you, Bryce… thank you…"
Bryce nodded slowly and lowered himself back down to lay beside her. He kissed her forehead before pulling her closer to himself.
“I love you, too… And now we should sleep. It’s after one in the morning,” he murmured.
Joy simply nodded against him, her arm on his chest.
"Goodnight, Wolf…" she murmured, her eyes dropping already. She wanted to say thank you again and again until her throat became dry, but she didn't want to bother Bryce. She was right where she belonged, and she would never make the same mistake again. She was going to work hard to become the joy in his life like her name originally meant.
“Good night, my joy,” Bryce said softly, kissing her forehead one last time before he let himself drop off into sleep.
Not it!)
(I hate you~)
Joy woke up the next morning first. She craned her neck to see her boyfriend still sleeping, and reached out to trail her finger across his lips. She smiled sleepily, resting her forehead against his, looking at him, waiting for him to wake up so she could see his breathtaking eyes.
Bryce’s lips twitched as he felt something trail across them, and he slowly opened his eyes. As soon as he did, he grinned, being greeted by the gray-green eyes of Joy. She was still with him. Thank goodness…
“G’morning… How did you sleep?” he murmured, his voice rough with the sleep that lingered.
His voice made Joy shiver. She loved his rough, sleepy voice. It was always a great way to start her day.
And then his grin. The same one that clenched her left and leave her wanting him more and more.
She looked into his eyes, finding herself getting lost in them naturally.
“Good morning…” she whispered, never taking her eyes off of him. “Like I was free. What about you?”
“Like my world was complete once more,” Bryce said softly, leaning forward to connect their lips gently. “Thank you for coming home, for telling me what happened… Thank you for letting me give you another chance.”
