"Yup." She said, before completely contradicting the statement and falling. Her glasses were askew on her face and two people tripped over her. "Ow."

Hazel bent over to help her up. "That looked like it hurt, but it definitely could've been worse," She paused. "Just hold on to my hands, okay?"
"Yea, I'll stick to that for now." She said, holding one and lifting herself up. "Plus, I like your hands." She shyly added, fixing her glasses and trying her strides again.
Hazel smiled. "If I'm being honest, you have nice hands, but I just like you in general," She blushed.
"Thanks." She said, adding a kiss on her cheek before picking up her speed.
Arwen smiled. "This is awkward. I usually don't skate backwards," She explained.
"Then turn around." Lexi said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world before smiling at (Arwen????jk) Hazel.
(Oh shit, sorry!)
"But, believe it or not, I enjoy looking at you."
Lexi blushed, not knowing what to say before looking away and covering the growing red on her cheeks and neck.
She laughed. "Man, I tell you I like looking at you and then you turn away. Not cool."
Lexi let out an undignified snort before covering her mouth and start laughing. "Shut up." She said playfully before punching her shoulder.
(I have to go to bed. Night!)
Her laugh turned into a giggle. "That was adorable!"
"No it wasn't" She tried her hardest to keep the smile off of her face, but couldn't help it.
(Night)
"Oh, yes it was," Hazel almost crossed her arms but then remembered that they were skating.
Lexi looked back at Hazel and tried her hardest to put on a serious face. She even crossed her arms for .2 seconds.
Hazel let go, knowing full well she could skate backwards, and propped her hands up on her hips. Giveing her sassiest look, she said "Yes it was."
Lexi could only uphold her look for five seconds before she was laughing at the way Hazel was skating. "Okay, fine. You win or whatever." Again, she tried her best to remotely sound annoyed but failed at that.
She bumped into someone. "Shit," She murmured. "I'm sorry."
Lexi laughed at her before falling over in laughter and colliding into three people.
Hazel tried to contain her giggle as she helped Lexi up. "Are you alright?"
"Yea." She said, brushing off her non-existent dust from her knees. "One more lap?"
"Whatever you'd like," She took Lexi's hands in her own and skated.
Lexi laced their fingers together as they did their last lap together. Her legs were worn out from the skating and continuously falling down on her knees.
((sorry if I'm really sporadic with my responses. I'm kinda panicking rn
Hazel picked her up everytime. "Okay, c'mon. I think you've had enough of this," She said, still holding on to Lexi.
(It's totally fine, I do the same too)
Lexi skated up to the carpet to sit on a chair and remove her skates. "That was fun."
