Lexi stored that information to use during another time before laying back in her seat. "What's your favorite show?"
Lexi stored that information to use during another time before laying back in her seat. "What's your favorite show?"
"I don't know, I don't really watch things…I prefer creating things," Hazel paused, thinking back to her drawings and videos. "What are yours?"
"Same, actually. I just thought you liked to watch things sine you have an artistic vibe." She answered, pulling out her phone.. "I do watch a lot of YouTube, if that counts."
"YouTube doesn't count depending on what you watch," Hazel listened music a lot, and had forgotten that there were other things on YouTube.
"True, I only watch new in new medical discoveries or how-to's." She mentioned.
"That counts, but they're educational. Probably."
"Well then," She started, putting her phone away. "I guess we both don't really watch shows." The wheel was coming back down, ready to go right back up the second time before she looked at Hazel. "Hey, when we get to the top, could I take a picture of us?"
"Yeah, but you have to send it to me," Hazel booped the other's nose and moved to the other side of their car.
"Of course," Lexi scooted closer to Hazel and took her phone out and put it in landscape mode. "Ready?"
Hazel tilted her head up. "Ready," She kissed Lexi's cheek as the other snapped the picture.
Lexi clicked the picture button for the cheek kiss before quickly turning her face and kissing Hazel right on the lips and taking another picture. The silhouette of them and the background of the park at late night blended in perfectly and she showed her the picture. "What do you think?"
"It's amazing," Hazel said it breathlessly. "But in all honesty, I like to live in the moment," She kissed Lexi again.
Lexi nodded, agreeing, before placing the phone back in her f=pocket and cupping Hazel's face. As they slowly lowered down, the 16-year old looking employee rolled his eyes before stopping the ride so people could get off.
Hazel raised her hand to flip him off, careful not to break the kiss. Before long, they hand to get off. "Where to next, love?"
Lexi was surprised at the nickname but got over it in just a moment. "Since it's getting late, how about one last ride? I was thinking about going on one that was like a cart ride. Nothing to crazy or like a roller coaster, just some jump scares."
Hazel pondered the notion quickly, before agreeing. "Which one? There's a few around."
"The one closest to us." She answered, pointing over to the large and long black box the muffled the sounds of screams and yelps.
"Fantastic. C'mon!" She bounded over to hand the last of her tickets to the woman running it.
Lexi sat in the rusted grey and copper cart and opened the door for Hazel to sit in. Once she was situated, the woman pulled a lever and the cart was plunged into a darkness.
There were red flashing lights and smoke alarms, their beeping almost overwhelming in the pitch blackness. Hazel grabbed Lexi's hand and squeezed.
Lexi glanced towards Hazel briefly before squeezing back and grinning. Suddenly the cart started shaking violently and did a sharp curve before going down on a hill. It wan't as steep as a roller coaster but you could tell the sudden change in gravity. Loud noises and rattling started appearing and the flashing lights were gone. It became eerily quiet just before a weird FNAF like creature popped out of nowhere on her side and screamed. She also did and curled up into Hazel's side.
Hazel recoiled from the creature. She clung to Lexi almost desperately. Hazel bit back a scream, finding it painful to do so. The cart went around another corner. She shut her eyes tightly and braced herself.
The cart pushed forward heavily before stopping immediately and did so three times. The blaring sirens came back on and creature after creature started popping out of nowhere. She screamed again before clinging onto Hazel once more.
Hazel opened her eyes, not bothering to suppress her scream this time. There were sounds of rats scurrying under the cart. A bright strobe light flashed, showing displays of phantasmagoria all around them.
Slowly but surely, the ride came to a stop before an unexpected surge of force pushed the cart out the doors to the true end of the ride. She exited and waited for Hazel to do so to before the grin on her face tugged at her lips. "That was… fun!"
