"Of course he's alive. I'd've known if he wasn't"
"Of course he's alive. I'd've known if he wasn't"
"Yeah, I mean I guess you would."
Rio sighed, letting go to head to the kitchen, grabbing a glass of cold water. "There's a spare room in the bak that I can prep for you" he said.
"If you wouldn't mind." She dropped her gaze to the floor.
Rio nodded, "Of course not!" he said, beaming at her.
She was barely able to look back up, studying the pattern of the wood floor. She really wasn't used to asking for help.
Rashi finally sat up with a yawn. "I'm glad you came back Fiona…" he said softly.
"I was kind of forced to."
"Still, I'm glad you're back"
"Which I really don't understand why."
"We both care about you that's why." said Rio.
"Again, I don't understand why."
"Neither do we" said Rashi.
"I guess I'm just not used to…people caring…"
"Well get used to it, cause you've got people who care."
She squeezed her hands lightly. "Sorry…"
"Don't apologize." said Rio, hugging her.
(Sorry! Having dinner with the family)
"I-I'm just not used to it…" She hated her stutter but she couldn't stop it.
"It's ok," said Rio, hugging her again.
She bit her lip to keep herself from apologizing again.
Rio smiled, watching as Rashi got up. "Either way, you're both in time for lunch." he said, "What should we make Rio?
She sighed quietly, she really didn't want anything, she'd long since lost her appetite but she didn't want to be rude.
Rio thought for a moment, "Grilled cheese?"
"I'm not hungry, you pick something yourself." She smiled a little.
"Grilled cheese it is" said Rashi, pulling out a pan and the butter, both of them deciding not to say anything on the subject.
