"That's never going to happen."
"That's never going to happen."
Rio sighed. "I'm not gonna stop trying then."
"Good luck. You'll need it."
"He's not the only one trying." said Rashi.
"Well then my luck goes to both of you."
Rashi and Rio shared a look, but decided not to pursue the subject.
She glanced between the two before her attention returned to the ceiling and her thoughts.
Rashi soon set out the sandwhiches on the counter, taking a couple for himself before crashing on the couch. The couch itself was quite large, and a nice light color. "You're welcome to make yourself at home." Said Rio.
"Oh trust me, you wouldn't want me to do that."
"Fiona… we want you here, so please, our home is your home.."
"That's not what I meant…" She muttered slowly.
"Then what did you mean?" Asked Rio.
"Just…It's hard to explain. Forget I said anything."
Rio watched her for a moment more, but said nothing.
She kept her eyes glued to the floor, not saying anything. She felt like a complete outsider, a cast out, like she didn't belong here.
Rio came over to her, hesitantly gi9ving her a hug.
She wrapped her arms around him, hoping if he held her tight enough, he'd squish her broken pieces back together.
Rio tightened his grip, gently guiding her to the couch and snuggling her with a blanket.
She giggled softly. He really was too cute sometimes.
Rio smiled, glad he'd made her laugh, snuggling with her under the blanket.
She rested her head on his shoulder, watching him with a smile.
Rio smiled back at her. Rashi watched the two with a smile.
The silence was weird at first but now she found it comforting. A peaceful silence rather than a suffocating one.
Rio sighed, settling down comfortably.
She hummed to herself softly, getting lost in her thoughts.
